Nic is the best manager I EVER meet in my trip so far it looks a bit crazy but he's got ALWAYS a proper sharp answer usually very useful and he's always keen to help everybody. Good location.

Even though we had a cold shower for 3 out of the 4 nights we would still go back! Play station was much appreciated as the nightlife in Vang Vieng can be a little quiet. Staff were excellent, always helpful, fun and entertaining! It even has a hammock for extra relaxation!

We didnt end up staying here and they were overbooked (flooding had prevented people from leaving the town). They had found us another room though and one of the employees - Cam - was amazing. We left our camera battery in the Lauang Prabang and he bent over backwards to get it back for us - we really appreciate it, thank-you!!

great hostel, all the staff were excellent- very friendly, funny and always helpful. rooms were clean and spacious, the location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the tubing station & the bucket bar. pool table & tv lounge were also a great addition, would definitely stay again.

Some of the staff have a very limited knowledge of English and the idea of Hostelworld seems to be a little strange to them so you might have a bit of a problem getting across that you have a reservation but once I managed that things were fine. If you know all episodes of Friends inside out and don't want see any of them in town the Babylon offers an extensive collection of DVDs that helped to pass a seriously rainy monsoon day without a problem. I had a really good time there.

Nic and Kam are wonderful hosts. The room was clean. The food was just as delicious and prices very reasonable. Nic and Kam are naturals at making guests feel welcomed and they work to ensure guests are well cared for. Babylon is highly recommended

Absolutely would not recommend this place. Booked but no rooms available on arrival, this doesnt appear to be a one off. We got other accommodation but after having paid 3 nights deposit upfront, asked the manager at Babylon for a refund. He not only refused but got extremely agressive & when we decided it wasnt worth the money to stick around for the abuse he shouted after us that we were too stupid to understand & too rude to finish a conversation, among other insults.   Read Owner Comments
