Great hostel great hostess, chilled and nice to be close to khaosan but not on it. Much better value than other Bangkok hostels

Really cool hostel with a great vibe. Close enough to khao San road that you can easily walk, but far enough away that you can escape the partying. Good showers, clean rooms, awesome staff.

Great place with awesome people, an awesome atmosphere and a great location. A/C in every dorm is awesome! Place is kept clean and has free wifi in the common area! Only negative is the bathrooms aren't amazing. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying again

Was recommended this hostel by a friend and couldn't of been happier! Awesome staff, great for socialising and amazing decoration! Had a fab time here and have been recommending to people we've met heading to Bangkok

In the first place we booked Back Home Backpackers because we heard it was such a great place to stay. When we arrived they told us they were overbooked so we had to stay at the hostel next to it. We heard good stories about Back Home Backpackers so this was a huge dissapointment, no points for the service. The hostel next to it (I already forgot the name) was allright but looked definately not as cosy as Back Home Backpackers.

Sophie and Anthony are the most chilled out hostel owners ever! Truly a home away from home. I'll definitly come back!

I always stay at Back Home when I'm in Bangkok and it's so nice to be greeted by Sophie's friendly smile! It's a cute little hostel with everything you need and although it's really close to Khaosan it's in a quiet area with awesome restaurants and bars and none of the seedy tourist garb. The beds are super comfortable and there's just a really chill, homey vibe about the place!

Great hospitality, wonderful, friendly owner who made us feel very welcome indeed. Would definitely come back if we are in Bangkok again!
