Back Home is an excellent hostal with great location! I really liked the staff's attention to detail and explaining the easiest ways to get around KL and such. They also made suggestions on the best way to get to Port Dickson, which turned out to very helpful! Thanks for everything and a comfortable stay!

This hostel is very good! In everyway! It would perfect if the staff were all as friendly as the Man and women who i think manage the hostel...I had problems and also saw other people Having problems with one of the male staff just because he has no people skills! Im sure The good staff know who this is and will deal with it as it takes the edge of what in everyother Way is a fantastic hostel

A modern, chic hostel located about 3 minutes away from Masid Jamek LRT station and about 10 minutes walk to Chinatown. Staff were very nice, and other guests were open and friendly. Large common area for socializing. Simple breakfast included. Laundry is a tad expensive, wouldn't recommend that you do it here. Wi-Fi access is good. The area around the hostel is a little dodgy at night (but that's like many places in KL), but if I were to stay in KL again I would definitely recommend here.

Overall it was ok. I was kinda hyped up because of its awards but I felt as though it wasn't as great as it was made out to be. The staff was great, they were really friendly and helpful. The room smelled strongly of fresh cement however, it was still very clean. Good value for your money though. Mostly average hostel.

It's really easy to get to and everyone who stays is friendly! The rooms are a good size and offer lots of storage! some of the communal areas are weather dependant as they are outside but overal a good hostel in a good location with a nice layout and friendly staff.

In a dirty city like KL, BackHome was a place I could find comfort, cleanliness and sociable people to talk to. Within 3 minutes walk to Masid Jamek LRT station, which is only two stops away from KL Sentral. Fast food and 7-Eleven are nearby, and Chinatown/Petaling Rd. are a very short walk away. Staff were very nice, rooms were kept clean, light breakfast and free filter were provided. Internet WiFi worked well. I will be staying here again :)

Toilets were not cleaned often enough. No wifi in the rooms. No secure luggage storage facility. Very loud music from night club hostel down the street. Great 7 wonders tour through Kuala Lumpur. Very new and spacious rooms.

Great location, very "livable" rooms and the cinema room is great. Overall great modern layout nice for lounging around and meeting others. Each bed has light, powerpoint and storage within reach. Lockers are large and well designed and each room has a sink as well.

Wow- what a way to start your gap year. They put the standards really high! Love the fact that you have your own power socket and reading light in the panel abouve your bed. the hostel has a TV room which is great to chill. Only downside, on my second stay they allocated a room on the ground floor which stunk of mould! so if you want to have smell free clothes the next morning - ask for a room on the first floor. Hope they get this problem sorted!
