Lovely hostel. Comfy beds, big rooms with big lockers for bags and a good sized communal area. It's a little more expensive than others but defienetly worth it. Would totally recommend!

Best hostel I've ever stayed. There is nothing negative to say. Clean rooms and facilities, cozy atmosphere, very Feriendörfer staff, good location... I first booked 3 nights and stayed a week in the end.

This hostel FLOODED while we were there and everyone on the bottom floor had lots of their possessions damaged. As compensation they washed and dried all our flooded clothes and offered a free night's stay. I would NOT stay there again.

The movie room was really awesome! Though due to the huge amount of space around the compound, there wasn't really much opportunity to interact with the other guests.

Really amazing friendly staff, I felt at home immediately. I met some great people and had a really fun time. The nicest hostel I've stayed in yet, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting KL. A lounge or bigger communal space would make this place even more perfect.

I stayed 7 nights in the dorms. The place is very difficult to leave as everything is top notch - dorms are spacious, bright and very clean. Bunks are configured so you can have some privacy with an individual light/power shelf. The beds could easily fit 2 people snuggly and are very comfy. Chinatown is less than 10min away for market and food, the LRT station is 3min, taxi from Changat is RM10-15 after midnight.

I really like how every bed had an individual shelf with lamp and most importantly a plug. When you are in dorm rooms and travelling its annoying and not as safe to have to charge electronic devices on the other side of the room.

Loved it! Very unique in itself. Loved the inner courtyard and the cafe next door. Location was great, dorms spacious and comfortable. Nothing I could complain about. Would always go back and stay there again. KL is a great place as well! Lots to explore and things to do. Stay for a week. It´s so worth it!

The hostel is great. You get nice clean facilities and a bed in top condition. A few weeks ago a towel was free but now they added a 5 Ringit charge which is a bit unfortunate. But overall this was a great stay.

I've stayed in over 40 hostels around the world. This hostel is so far one of the best. Perfect place to stay in KL. nice ambience, friendly staff, super fast wifi, spacious common area and bed room. Each bed has an outlet, a small drawer and writing desk. I would definitely recommend and go back again.

We loved our stay at Backhome, our only suggestion would be that the sign that says courtyard closed between midnight and early morning mentions that this is out of consideration for sleeping guests. Guests having late night deep and meaningfuls in the courtyard/kitchen could be heard word for word from our room, more a reflection on them than the hostel though :-)

I really enjoyed my stay at Back Home, and every time I saw the hostel, it felt like coming back home! Nearly one of the very few things I liked about Kuala Lumpur actually!
