Cracking hostel. Clean, efficient, cracking staff. (special shout out to Roslyn!!) only one thing I would say is if you're a light sleeper ask to be put in a room away from the road as it is noisy. Other than that I can't fault the place. I recommend it whole heatedly.

A small, cozy hostel, I like the view of KL tower from the hostel during the night, and also the historic style of the building, feels like back to the old times. Room is clean and just has a few rooms here, staffs are helpful and warm, and I’ll definitely stay in Backhome KL if I visit KL again! Little India/China Town are 2 blocks away, just 5 mins from Masjid Jamek LRT station, there’s a lot to see in this area, great!

The receptionists here are very helpful and friendly. I'd like to send a big thanks to Roslyn, Yoklan and Fadly. All of you have very nice smile :) I joke with Roslyn that she should turn on the song "Home" to welcome guests and change the word into "...Let me go Backhome". Haha. Yes. It's like our Home, very comfortable with large bed and room. Really nice and lovely decoration! Its location is really convenient as well, near MRT & Bus station. I will totally recommend Backhome to my friends!

Directions to the Hostel mention to look for the signature Red and White however these colours have now faded to brown and grey with all of the dirt and weather conditions. A facelift would do wonders!!! The street at night is also infiltrated with roaches which can only be a result of a lack of cleanliness. The hostel is however completely different on the inside and helps alleviate the poor presentation outside.

Clean, friendly, all that you need for a quick stopover or a weekend break. Not a party place like some of the local hostels but perfect for chilling out and meeting people. Beds / linen etc is OK; showers/toilets etc really clean.

Rosali was amazing with helping me get around the city and she made us feel very safe during the protest/riots. I had an amazing time at the hostel, a very clean, friendly and good value place to stay

Very clean hostel with cool modern decor. Staff very friendly and helpful - great service. A bit noisy as 1 wall was made of frosted glass but quietened down fairly early - wouldn't let it put me off.

I stayed in a 4bed female dorm and the AC is broken. I have an early check out so I just say my complain to the staff on duty just before I leave. I don't know whether he tried to fix it or not.

The staff are very accommodating and warm. They really help you out and try to give you what you need. Backhome hostel is located in quite a good place and different sites are easily accessible by both trains and by walking. It has been really a fun and enjoyable time staying in Backhome. I got to meet great people and enjoy the good food along the streets as well. I'd definitely recommend this hostel to my family and friends. =) Til next time, Backhome! =)
