A really good spot. Wide beds, good AC, super friendly staff, close to China Town, not expensive and it's easy to meet nice people.

Everything was good. Easy to find from lrt.

Great place, great atmosphere. And very helpful staff (sometimes a little bit overwhelmed by all the work).

Smiling staff was friendly, never tired of answering questions or giving directions. Location was 90 seconds from train stop. Oatmeal, dry cereal, fruit, bread, PB and J, for breakfast, plus coffee and tea available 24 hours. I never noticed odors mentioned by some reviewers.

Perfect location, great people, amazing showers and lockers big enough for around a 45 litre backpack. However, the staff seemed pretty uninterested in my questions apart from 1 girl who was very nice. You are also made to pay for a towel if you don't have one (I had my own, but just pointing it out), which is ridiculous considering the price you pay to stay there. All in all a really great hostel though!

Clean and Nice Hostel on perfect location. The showers are very good and warm water always. Breakfast is not so special, but there are enough places to find food in the neighbourhood.

Good place to stay. It was my second time in KL-- first time I stayed at Reggae Mansion. Both are comparable and just a block away but RM is definitely an upscale party hostel. backHome is much more laid back. One thing to note is the bathrooms are coed. I didn't necessarily mind, but it was my sisters first hostel experience and she was uncomfortable. Keep in mind Inonly stayed one night and it was a private room (sink incl, so I didn't get the full effect. Long story short, good place to stay!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were really accommodating and friendly, the facilities were fitted out really well (very funky) and the atmosphere was really social (which I liked). I really liked the planned activities too!

Absolutely loved this hostel! Great place to meet travellers. And it's a very comfortable place. Beds are clean and comfortable, toilets are wel kept and the location is walking distances (or cheap cab rides) away from all the places: KL Tower, Petronas towers, mardeka square, china town etc. Loved every bit! But if you're looking for a party hostel then this isn't it. But there is a reggae bar across the street which you can use

Back home is so close to the lrt station. It has proper sized rooms with comfortable big beds. Nothing is too much for staff working at Back home. I liked staying in this place even though it's not a very social place. The door of the room doesn't lock automatically, meaning the door is always unlocked. For the price you would expect a towel included, but you have to rent one for 5 rm. You can get a fresh towel everyday without paying another 5. WiFi reliable, but not suitable for a Skype call.

The staff really make this hostel great! From arrival, they remembered my name and were always smiling and willing to help with any information from tips on where to go and where to eat as well as assisting with anything we needed. I stayed in the female dorm and it was nice and spacious. LOVED the big lockers.

Very nice and easy to get around with train. A bit annoying Indians are not used to tourists I did't feel comfortable wearing shots and tank top.

The staff could not have been any nicer. GOOD hearted people all around. The hostel is clean, sleek, aesthetically pleasing and has a great feel to it. Not a party hostel which is exactly what I was looking for, but still met awesome people. Free coffee and tea 24/7, LOKL cafe next door has great food and awesome cappuccinos.

This is what all hostels should be like. Yeah, it's a bit on the expensive side, but you definitely get your moneys worth and more. The only fault in this place is that it makes all the other places seem bad.
