Actually the owner owns two hostels, the other one is The Jail House, I changed to stay there while I checked in, both are nice!

Had a wonderful time staying in Dulan at Backpacker Dog! Kai, Party and Alex were great hosts, the hostel is super clean, has free bikes to use and is walking distance from the Beach. I was so sad to leave, 3 days was definitely not enough! I highly recommend this hostel, I'll definitely be back.

The room was a little cramped but the beds were one of the best that I have slept in while travelling around Taiwan for 12 days, even though I only spent a night here. Great place to stay at!

Not a bad place to stay for a couple of days. A long ride from Taitung city to here. Actually I was searching a hostel inside Taitung city and this one came out. It is not in Taitung city, it is in Dulan town of Taitung County. The hostel is kind of small and I am a sensitive person, so I felt a little bit noisy at night when guests and staff gathering in the kitchen and talking.Though I didn't have a change to visit the city but not bad to ride a bicycle in this nearby area.
