This hostel is absolutely great! Mr. Choi is really friendly and helpful. Clean, convenient, and the best location in Seoul. You won't regret staying here and I would definitely recommend it.

This location in the Hongdae area of Seoul cannot be beat! Literally stumbling distance from some of the most exciting nightlife spots in the city. Definitely recommend it to others living in Korea who wish to crash in the area and wake up in a prime spot in the city the next day!

The stuff was very nice and eager to help. The bathrooms seem to have never been clean at all, and there are two.

Backpacker friends guest house is in a great location in hondae. Very close to a number of restaurants, shops, bars, etc. We stayed in the private twin room. It was pretty basic (2 beds and thats about it). The hostel is two floors with one bathroom on each floor. The bathroom is a single one so it made it very tough to use the bathroom when you have quite a number of other people in the hostel. Overall; location was great, mr choi (the rep) was nice, but the bathrooms and rooms arent great.

Had a great time staying at Backpacker Friend Guesthouse, great location to go out and is close enough to the metro to get around anywhere. Never really had an atmosphere when I was there - everybody was asleep pretty much all day and night. Good place to stay though and will probably go back next time in Seoul

Loved it. The place is very clean, you have a free locker/padlock and free use of the internet. Mr Kim is very helpful and will help you book up tours to the DMZ and other places.
