The staff here was excellent and did a great job of making the stay enjoyable. The rooms were very clean, and there was ample security for our car. The breakfast that was included was also a great touch! While the cars passing by were loud during the daytime, this wasn't a problem at night, and is probably something you'll encounter with any hostel in this area. Great experience!

A hidden gem, flor tica was very clean, secure, quiet, and most importantly, lovely. We enjoyed a spacious room that included a refrigerator. The pool was refreshing after a day in the heat. The breakfast options made for a good start to our day. We especially appreciated their flexibility in allowing us to leave our packs after we had checked out and then cleanup their before our late afternoon scheduled departure.

Everything was stellar, the couple who runs the place is amazingly nice - so be nice to them too. Value for money is great, very nice pool and patio area, breakfast in the morning is delish. Only complaint is that the location could be better, as it's a good 45-60min walk to Manuel Antonio. It's quick by cab, but make sure they have the meter running or they'll try to rip you off if you're a gringo like me!

The stuff speaks no word on any other language than spanish. They have no informations about public transportation, how to get out of M. Antonio. Beds are extremely unconfortable!!! Like sleeping on the rock! For a dorm for 8 thay had only 2 keys, so we needed to arrange ourselfs to have a key - which I never experienced anywhere else! One morning I made reservetion to go rafting at 6am, but was unable to get out of hostel until 7am! The owners defenitly should have better comunication with ppl

We ended up adding 3 more days. Great place to stay. A short (10min) and cheap bus ride to Manuel Antonio National park. here is a walkable black sand beach nearby which gets much less traffic. The owners are great and very nice. We really enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms, pool, and lounge areas.

If you're looking for a party place, then don't stay here. If you're looking for a clean, secure place that's in great proximity to all of the amenities (bus,grocery/liquor store, bank, restaurants) then do stay here. The owners are pretty amazing, the rooms are clean and it feels very safe. Loved manuel Antonio and loved this gem.

Very nice staff, great price with breakfast included. If you don't speak any spanish, this isn't really the place for you, unfortunately. Private room was well equipped with a fridge, AC, private bath etc. for about 40$/night. Right in the heart of Manuel Antonio with great, affordable restaurants next door.
