I slept in the 4 bed dorm. Everything was alright. Dean was very helpful and friendly - all in all good value for the money.

We booked a twin room cause there was no free double room anymore. When we arrived at the hostel and ask if there is any double room available, they said no but gave us a family room which was really nice! Great staff, really friendly and easy going! Dog lovers-you should go there! They have a friendly little puppy that unfortunatelly leaves stains of pee everywhere in the hallway but is full of energy and makes your day! The hostel has a very good location close to Chinatown and ashopping mall!

Terrible place and service. they gave out our bed the first night for ad administratino mistake and the owner is not a nice person. The guests are not treated well and we waited hours in the lobby before being able to check in.... and it was afternoon!

The host was very nice and helpful. The hostel has a great location, it's surrounded with eateries and it's 5 minutes from all the main attractions. Basic breakfast is included, would go there again.

The accommodation was large, clean and tidy and air-conditioned. We were on the top floor which Is also where the manager lives and the common areas which meant it was quite noisy however we were warned of this on arrival. The name explains it all. A dog, hamster, also reside on the top floor. Good for a short stop over.

Great place to stay! Sean is the friendliest and funniest person I have met in Malaysia. The place is very welcoming and Sean will tell you everything there is to do in the town. I really appreciated that we were in email correspondence before my arrival and he went out of his way to reserve a bus ticket to Penang for me. What a guy! Thanks so much Sean for the great stay :)

I never write reviews, because I'm happy with a roof and a bail of hay, but this place was special Had to wait for 20 minutes just to be let into the property. When the manager did let us in, he was drunk and took his time checking us in whilst casually pouring himself another beer. He received 2 phone calls whilst we were there, punched the table on the first one and threw keys across the room on the second. Aggressive guy, made me dislike the place instantly. Other than that, it's a roof & bed

Good location, ok stay for a nightor two. Clean enough, but a bit crowded with just 2 toilets/showers per floor...

The hostel holder is indeed a freak - seems to take some forbidden substances and be pretty freaky. The hostel has a nice location, but cleanliness of washrooms and bed can be improved.

A family-run hostel. Quite a good one for the price. In a location not far away from the sightseeing points.
