Overall, this was a very nice hostel. The rooms were clean, beds were nice, and bathrooms were clean as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The one-key-for-each-room system was confusing when you have seven other roommates. The common area was nice, they had working computers, and lockers were available for each person! Breakfast was just bread, so if you want something more you should buy it the night before. Very close to the city center and in walking distance of Cerro San Bernardo.
this is a really weird feeling kind of hostel. the staff and the general atmosphere just makes you feel weird and ontop its situated in a semi industrial area location.
Good clean hostel. Very limited atmosphere. Head to its sister hostel, which has nightly dinners, if you are looking to meet people.
The breakfast here is an absolute joke. A baguette is still a baguette no matter which way you slice it. Rooms were respectable and BBQ was good. Having one key to share for a 8 bed dorm is absolutely ridiculous.
Most boring breakfast ever! And the tours they offer are overpriced - go to another company and get it cheaper. The rooms were big and nice, though.
The way the arrange the keys to the dorms is ridiculous, there is one key that regularly disappears and you end up being locked out most times, and you have to fetch a spare key from reception. Apart from that, kitchen is decent but a bit sticky, location is great and staff are super friendly, which makes up for the bad sides. Nice dinners too, but they are in the other twin hostel.
The staff were great! They helped with every little thing we needed , every hour of the day. They were kind and nice. Speak English also.
Walking distance from city centre and the bus stop (about 25min). The staff were friendly and helpful and organised a good asada at the sister hostel. Rooms were spacious with lockers, but the bathrooms were dirty. Very difficult to keep the floors dry after showering, so ended up with puddles everywhere.
Thanks to Backpackers Suites : we forget horrible Marco Polo Inn of Iguazu!
This is a nice hostel, the staff are friendly and the hostel is kept clean. There is a big lobby area which is good for socialising. The hostel organises dinners with their partner hostel and this is a great way to meet other people.
It's about a 15 minute walk to the centre but most hostels aren't in the centre. There's one key to each room between many so often you can't get in or have to wait. There wasn't much atmosphere. The wifi was patchy and the computers weren't even plugged in. Breakfast is terrible coffee and bread and Arequipa. The staff were pretty good though and Lucas is cool. It's not great but then most hostels in salta aren't. Probably best of a bad bunch
