One of the staff is a student from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and he was extremely friendly, effective and helpful in handling our queries and solving the issues in our room (curtain, lock as well as minimize room swapping during our 4-day stay). A good place to stay in Berlin with competitive pricing, convenient location, safe and clean environment (including staff help tidying up the kitchen every night). 1 Euro for 24 hour Wifi services is extremely attractive.

The shared bathroom was with a bath tub and the toilet in the same room. That was not so nice. And the hostel uses only a part of the house, the rest is used by families. The walls are very thin so you can hear everyone speak. But the location is very nice. In the middle of Friedrichhain.

Very value for money. Location might be a little far off from the central attractions but still convenient with a tram. Very cosy and peaceful hostel with spacious rooms for such a cheap price. Loved how every room and toilet is different, feels like a guesthouse actually

Very friendly staff, answered any questions we had and even had a few recommendations for things to do. Had to pay for wi-fi but only 1 euro for 12 hours of online time. Location is a bit outside of the main attractions in Berlin but they were close to the metro station so it was easy to get around.

Calm hostel in a vibrant neighbourhood. Perfect for a couple and no early wake-ups from partying teenagers. Nice hot showers in always clean and always available bathrooms.

Friendly, helpful staff who were very knowledgable and easy to talk to, which made travelling around Berlin a whole lot easier. Location was good with clubs, many restaurants and a train station all reasonable walking distance. Even though it was shared toilet and shower facilities, it was pretty clean and did the job! Wasn't the busiest of hostels, though maybe it was to do with the time of year as it was late February time. I would definitely recommend this hostel to all fellow travellers.

Good location, good breakfeast but it's a bad idea to have a common space just in front of rooms: very hard to sleep when people singing and talki,g after midnight...

This really is a great value hostel with lots of added extras like free internet on their computers and free breakfast cereal / hot drinks all day long. Reasonably central too. Would definitely re-visit / use again and recommend to anyone.

The hostel was cozy and friendly, and the staff was eager to tell us about the best spots! The showers were not as clean as they could have been. The actual room was small and the bed was a bit hard - BUT cozy and big enough. The location was excellent. Close to tram and s-bahn and it was a nice and quiet neighborhood with good restaurants and bars. Also good that it's walkindistance to some of the more popluar clubs! Would stay here again!
