Pretty nice hang out area with couches, useful on a rainy day like we had! Free 24h wifi didnt work though. But who needs it when you can surf for around 20$! For 5$ the staff take you to 1770 at sunset and it is a must! Greyhound bus stop is just across the street, beach is 5 minutes away. Hostel is pretty quiet at night and clean. The double rooms are not so private, the walls in between the rooms dont go up to the ceiling so it feels like you share the room with them (light, noise)

It's abit tired but it's only starting out as a new place so with the staff being great, the option to hire stuff free wifi tidy kitchen, great atmosphere, for what you pay its good value! Would stay again!

Really nice hostel. Wish I had more than 1 night here. It has a great outdoor area and kitchen. It's small so it has a good vibe and folks seem to talk to each other. The location is right next to the IGA, so easy for groceries. Otherwise, having a car would probably be best for this place. They do have a hostel van but we didn't use it.

Lovley vibe and cool people. Long Term backpackers/staff not really social and stuck to themselves.A lot of ants and cockroaches in my room, kitchen usually dirty. Apart from that had a Lovley stay and met some awesome people!

Stayed only for one night. The place was nice, had a real backpacker feel to it with hammocks, sofas everywhere and plenty of inspirational quotes and bright colours. I stayed in a 10 bed dorm and when I arrived the door was wide open with no one in there, not a great security vibe. The staff were friendly. the shower wasn't very nice though, with ants crawling all over the wall and it was a frosted glass box with no lock. anyone could open the door to the shower. The bathroom had no door.

Our room needed to be cleaned it was very dirty.

Great location, small town vibe. Right next to the town center. Big rooms, free lockers and a lively common area. Easily the best hostel in Agnes Water

Very chilled hostel, was really quiet and not much going on but really nice if you want a chill out. Friendly staff and nice rooms too.

Private room was not private at all. Half a cardboard wall no lock on the door and no covers over the blanket. It was freezing cold in the room and the blankets were really thin.

The staff are brilliant at this hostel; friendly and helpful to make us feel very welcome. We truly believe that overtime this team will make the hostel better and better. The downside was paying a private room price for a room that wasn't really private (the hostel admits this in their description of the doubles on this site) but luckily we had considerate room mates. An improvement/upgrade of kitchen facilities (hobs) and dry tea towels would take the hostel to the next level.

Despite the 10pm noise curfew, we were woken by loud talking and drinking at 2am. The double rooms which my husband and I choose over dormitory was very unfortunately located right next to the communal area and kitchen. The evening supervisor/manager confessed that he was drinking with some of the other guests that night and didn't hear a thing. Overall disappointing

Fine for a stop over, although the shower in the en suite leaked into the room. The whole room felt a bit damp and everything in my bag when I left was damp too, maybe some windows that opened would help.

Great hostel and a super friendly staff. Beds are comfy and rooms are clean. I would come back in a heartbeat!
