Location is really good, it`s close to the metro & close enough to the center (as much as it possible to be for such money ;) Only it`s a pity, that breakfas is included only from May to October (I tried to understand why, but still I can`t :D) Well, in general = it`s normal place to stay!

The afternoon tapas trip with Sylvia (the manager) was excellent. She extends a very warm welcome to guests and really makes them feel right at home the moment they step into the hostel. One other staff member, Veronika, is very sweet and extremely helpful. She goes an extra mile to provide you with all the information you need about places to see (even what to buy). The hostel is perfectly located close to the major attractions. A fantastic stay! Thank you. Can't wait to go back!

This hostel was absolutely wonderful. The staff are all incredibly helpful, and the owner is always around - you can tell he loves his hostel and his job. The hostel has great character, and a perfect location. Very easy access to the center of the city, and it is just enough removed to offer quiet nights (minus one dude snoring - WOW. But that's not the hostel's fault). Highly recommend.

Lovely and quiet at night for sleeping. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Need to oil the hinges on the doors and cupboards as some are quite squeaky. Convenient location for everything. Would definitely stay again.

We liked that it is not a party spot. Very relaxed and personally responsible vibe.

The hostel was really clean (including showers and toilets) and the staff always nice. There were lockers in the rooms, and we had no problems with security. There's a subway station on the same block. There's also a supermarket nearby and we could use the kitchen and the fridge, so it was easy and cheap to dinner. The only problem was that the acoustic isolation in the rooms was not so good, but that was not a great problem, because there were some rules about the noise after midnight.

This was my first time using a hostel ad I was please with it, it was very clean, great location (5min from Sagrada Familia ad center of barcelona). Also, the staff was very nice and always helpful, and the price was reasonable. I really enjoyed staying here.

Enjoyed making plans with friends and determining travel routes using their wi-fi on the small, sunny balcony on the front of the building, which was RIGHT next to my room. Owner Xavi and all staff were delightful, wish I could've stayed longer. :)

I had a most enjoyable stay at this hostal, everything I hoped for. It is small and quiet, all the staff are very friendly and helpful, the facilities are kept clean every day and the security is good. I recommend this hostal for anyone who wants to sleep well in a good neighbourhood and I will use it again.

Backpackers BCN is a small but cute hostel, the paints of the wall are welcoming and the staff are friendly too. there's terrace for smoking and everything is clean, and yes it is quiet too. There's a Mango outlet nearby which was convenient for X'mas shopping. next to some nice bars and CV stores. If only the sink in the bathroom is bigger.

I thought this place was excellent, very clean and very friendly. As advertised, not a party hostel and a bit of a walk to the main area (15-20mins) but well connected with metro, buses etc.

Ace little hostel. Was a quiet place, which is exactly what I wanted, in a great location with plenty of stuff within easy walk. Owner was very friendly when I spoke to him and the rest of the staff were helpful also. Everything I wanted.

All in all a good place to stay into in Barcelona. 1 minute from a Supermarket, 4 from a Metro Station and very close to everything important in the city. Only downside is there's not much to do in the hostel but if you're looking for a place just to rest, it's perfect.
