A very nice place, nice people, extremely good position, very closed to the center. Pretty small bathroom, but very clean. Warm shower. I recommend it!

I loved the hostel, and it is by far one of the best I have ever stayed in. If I had to give one suggestion for improvement, I'd say the toilet situation leaves a little to be desired. The setup is odd and there isn't much privacy for the one attached to the showers.

What a great Hostel! I made my experience of Barcelona all the more better for staying here. The staff that run it are very friendly approachable and always happy to help with orientation etc. Wifi and free internet, comfy sturdy beds, good breakfast and the security is great with spacious individual lockers that are free and the place is consistently clean and fresh. The building is beautiful and has a nice terrace. Location is central 5 mins to the metro and 10 to La Rambla. I recommend BCN!!

Great Hostel, for a good prices and the location is excelent. Also the staff is very helpful and nice. Regarding the "Atmosphere" I can tell that it's quiet and calm, those who are looking for fun, meating people and make noise, won't found it in this hostel, but those who want a calm place to have some rest after a long day of walking around, it's perfect!

It was brillient hostel! Except just one... I think the location of hostel is really good but, it is really hard to find this hostel. Be careful!! The Hostel sign is really just really really small....:( But the staffs are really nice and also very quiet hostel! and If you search this hostel in google map maybe that will say another hostel (same name but different branch - it is quite close but quite far ,, in first time I visited there because of my mistake...) Anyway this hostel is nice!

Clean beds, clean toilets, clean showers, not noisy, steps to the metro and walking distance to some of the major sights of Barcelona. This is the place. A safe and secure hostel.

Friendly staff and clean facilities made for a pleasant stay. The location was also great (close to Plaza Catalunya). But the best thing about Backpackers BCN Diputació was the atmosphere... It was full of interesting, friendly, and reasonable people. Good place!

Good location near the metro stop. One of the cleanest hostels I have even been to. Nice outside terrace. Super nice staff (most of them, except one lady, spoke some english), good facilities, free lockers, free computers, free wifi, free coffee cocoa and tea. The only annoying thing was they locked the showers from midnight to 7am so that we wouldn't disturb other people, but then if you go out at night that means you can't shower before bed and you have to sleep all dirty... overall A+

Convenient location to walk to major points in Barcelona or to walk to the metro. The location is a few blocks away from main tourists area which made for more reasonablely priced and less crowded restaurant options. Staff member Melissa was very helpful. The high celing and old detailing in the dorm room made for a very relaxing place to stay.

Really good hostel! Good location, nice helfull staff, very clean and safe, quiet, free Internet, nice kitchen and common room, big shower, terrace. Only the washbasins are too small but except that detail everything was good! If we'll go back in Barcelona for sure we'll return here!

I really enjoyed my stay at Backpackers BCN. The owner was extremely nice and very helpful. He warned us about pick-pockets and helped orient us to the city right when we got there; it was very kind. The hostel is beautiful; I liked the atmosphere. It's also in a great location, as you can walk to the Sagrada Familia or into town quite easily. Thanks to the folks that work here-it was great! :)

Definitely one of the best hostels I've been to. Almost like a bed & breakfast family style. Excellent stuff, wonderful and amiable owner (Javier) whom you can trust to have a practical answer for almost anything; immaculately clean and quiet hostel ideal for non-partying, mature travelers (including families). Great location too: ten minutes to Passaig Gracia. Close to the Girona metro station etc. I'd say, look no further.

I enjoyed staying here. That´s why I decided to come back in between two weeks. It is a nice, small and clean place, totally great located for walking everywhere. For people who are not so much into party this hostel is great, especially I felt for lonely travellers this is a great place because it is easy to meet other interesting people but also you can have your peace if you feel more like that, no problem at all. The staff was really nice and helpful and the big lockers were great! Thank you!
