Great hostel a short walking distance from the center. Staff was friendly and helpful, everything was clean, the place was secure. Bonus: Nice big lockers to fit lots of stuff and they have luggage storage after checkout. I would stay there again if I return to Barcelona!

AMAZING! Simply the best hostel I've ever visited. I stayed in 3 different hostels in Barcelona. None felt as clean, safe, or better value for money. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit. Thanks from the UK

My boyfriend and I stayed at Backpackers for Winter 2012 and it exceeded our expectations! The owner was GREAT and very helpful. The location of the hostel is PERFECT as it is only a few blocks away from Las Ramblas (5 minutes) but you're still able to sleep at night. The staff was also great and VERY friendly! The hostel is clean, but not spotless, so always pack slippers and shower shoes. Also, there is a usable kitchen if you want to save money by cooking. All in all, a wonderful hostel!

Friendly staff, perfect location, good facilities, king size lockers... I love it! Only the basins are a little bit too small for me:-p If you plan to visit Barcelona, don't hesitate to come here! BTW... Barcelona is such an amazing city beyond my imagination!

Staff very helpful and nice! They gave us very good recommendations. The hostel is a few blocks away from the subway, batllo house and passeig de Gracia (an important avenue). We totally recommend it :)

I wanted to see Gaudi´s buildings and the hostel was an excellant location for this. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Well, I only stayed for one night, staying at a friends house; otherwise I would have loved to stay there longer. Comfy and clean hostel with friendly english speaking staff; buzzer door checked by reception, large .50cent deposit wall locker, quick free computers and wifi, hot showers, comfy beds nicly spaced...made me feel really home like for a backpacker like me...I noticed there was a sizable kitchen, balcony, telovision..that I can´t think of anything that might be lacking at this hostel.
