On my last night had done cosmetics taken.. Since there are no locks on room doors you can't even tell who took it. Anyone can come to the room at anytime. Having shàred the bad news with one of the guests I was told that a week earlier he had $3500.00 in cash taken. So, people if you decide to stay there. Keep absolutely locked up in whatever way you can or better still stay somewhere else!!

A really funky Bohemiam esque hostel, set amongst the trees with a really chilled area for relaxing! Dorm room was pretty spacious and clean although the kitchen area was a bit cramped and simple. Helpful staff though and well located. Sure you don´t get breakfast but there´s a shop right over the road meaning you could get the usual Brazilian hostel breakfast for the same price as the price increase to the next hostel

The hostel is not too big, run by a family, It has a small and cozy open air common area and which is a good place to meet fellow travelers.
