The Staff were terribly rude and refused to check us in , even though we had booking references etc. They had no record of our booking and got very irate and shouted at us to leave. We threatened to call the Garda and this made things worse. After 2hrs and getting printouts of everything they finally allowed us to check in. The front of house have no computer and no record of any bookings made by internet. They had to move people out of our room to allow us to stay. Very poor indeed.

Dirtiest rooms I've ever stayed in. No lockers in the rooms. Bathroom had a huge leak. Don't stay unless everything else is booked.

The hostel is, simply put, a dirty place. The bathroom and lavatory facilities were dirty, toilet paper was missing on several occasions, the shower water was either cold (in the evening) or too hot (early in the morning), and scathered around on the floor were a razor, a toothbrush, a spunge and lots of toilet paper. The dorm room was not better, with mold on the walls and ceiling, tampons underneath one of the beds, a beer can and pizza carton from the previous guest and a permanent bad smell.

No oven to cook food in, and very little kitchen supplies to even make dinner with. No towels to dry cutlery with after using. I really found the kitchen lacking, it is one reason I pick a hostel over a hotel, so I can make my own food. Most hostels have enough basic equipment to do this, however I found citihostels lacking in this big time.

This hostel offers amazing value for money. The beds are clean and comfortable, the facilities are OK for the price. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bottom line is you get what you pay for, and the prices here are VERY good.

My stay was great! The staff at the desk (two guys) were extremely friendly, and helpful with the many questions I asked them. Great vale for money and the cleanliness of the place was good too. The only flaw I can point out was the the shower in my room never turned hot ad consequently I was not able to have a shower.

Staff is nice but hostel facilities are poor. Sometimes no warm water, sometimes barely water pressure at all, at least in the twin room we booked and the shower was dirty. Book this hostel if you really need some place cheap, but it is worth paying a little bit more for a higher standard hostel.

The hostel is not as bad as I thought it would be, booked it for the price... What you get for your money is good: a clean bed in a dormroom. It was not cold, just a bit noisy. The whole hostel smells lke hamburgers during the evening. The bathrooms are really bad, didn't shower because you would get more dirty from them, even with flipflops. No toiletpaper during the evening.... Staff is friendly, though the man is quite strange. But still it's cheap and maybe I would stay again =)

Very dirty rooms, especially the baths you couldn't use at all!!! they hadn't been cleaned at all! and the kitchen was so dirty, you could not cook at all there, also because there are not enough dishes and glasses and so on!!

After staying in hostels all round the world i would have to say its one of the poorest. Im familiar with hostels and dont expect much but the hostels shared bathrooms were pretty grim, even for me :/ The staff were pretty friendly but we left after one night (we had originally planned to stay 3) and moved to a little guest house up the road. It was a little more expensive but was waaayyy nicer. Avoid this hostel there are nicer hostels and guest houses on the same street :)

I went there with some friends in for the weekend and we paid a excellent price. The rooms are a little bit cold, but the linen is comfortable and the beds are in good condition. The guys in the staff are a little bit rude, but I think it's just their way, in fact they are quite helpful. The only problem was the main bathroom, it was quite disgusting to take a shower in it, it was always wet and it had this smell of pee ALL the time. But apart from that it is good place to stay for a few days!

i already passed on my comments directly and got no reply. There was one channel on the tv in the room. i reported it and he said there are no tvs in other rooms. i went back to the room and in the bathroom, the toilet wasn't flushed, there was a cigarette init, and brown stains on the bowl. i reported it and was told that the room had not been let for a few days........Does this explain it? The curtains let in the light and there was no heater in the room. i was given back 10 euro extra, and it
