There were not enough bathrooms. Since many people shared one bathroom, the bathroom was dirty and the drainage was often blocked. The rooms downstairs were dark without fresh air. Internet was poor in the room, and not enough electrical sockets.

This hostel was pretty sub-par. The showers were pretty disgusting when I was there in late December; both showers had clogged drains, and so the smell coming from it was absolutely foul. The 6 person room I was in smelled bad too, like an old stale, dirty laundry-like smell. Breakfast was not bad though, and the location wasn't too bad since it was just a 15 minute walk away from the main city center.

Friendly staff, pretty good facilities. Some of the roommates came in drunkenly and loudly during the middle of the night, but thats just a chance you take when finding hostels.

I had a great stay in Dusseldorf but perhaps booked the incorrect room in the hostel. We were in a two-bed dorm that was tiny (which was fine) but was very nice. The mattresses smelled terrible which was why I say the room was not very nice. I felt dirty the next morning after sleeping on the bed. Please, if anything, get new mattresses in this room! The bathrooms were clean and the location wasn't bad at all. It was a quick walk from the train station. Breakfast was a nice surprise.

I stayed there for just one night but I can't complain. This hostel is near the train station and not far from the city center. Wifi works fast and everywhere and it's free. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and big and the staff (I met an Italian guy who worked there) was nice and very useful for any info I needed.

Great value for money, the staff were friendly, and there was a breakfast included in the price of the hostel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bacpackers-Dusseldorf. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive and their advice and recommendations were invaluable. It's a pretty humble set up but perfect for a little stay in a great area, with heaps of really great food near by - including vegan options!! Definitely recommend it.

As far as hostels go, this place ticks all the boxes :)

Heating was Not working in the night , even after reminding them in the evening it didn't work the whole night and i had to shiver alone in the room, any how next morning i left the hostel.

Good hostel for a 1 night stop over.
