Just a good place, nothing special. Location is good. Could be a bit cleaner. Beds are old.

Great hostel in good location, very close to beach and only a short walk to central Miraflores. Charming and friendly staff with good common room. Wifi in room and comfy clean beds. Would highly reccomend!

Great location close to the beach, nice showers, decent beds, and a good atmosphere. Staff is helpful for booking onward travel and things to do around town!

Hostel has a nice vibe, nice common areas/TV room. Bathrooms need more attention however as they´re often dirty, have no toilet paper & never have soap. Our room was like a jail cell, tiny (all 4 bare walls almost touched the bed) with a tiny window. Wifi is decent but doesnt cover whole hostel. Well equipped kitchen available, nice and close to the beach/walk & only a short walk from restaurants/supermarket. Better directions needed on HstlWrld - Approx 13 Soles taxi from cruz del sur terminal.

Nice hostel only 2 blocks from the beach. I thought the location was perfect since it was close to the center but not right on Kennedy park which seemed very busy and touristy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the place was clean, and quiet, and there was a good selection of DVDs. Only complaints are lack of TP in the bathrooms (we had to ask like 3 times) and pretty lame breakfast of just white bread. Good coffee tho!

The Backpackers Family House is so good and I had three wonderful days staying there! The dorm was clean and the lobby was cozy especially when you sit in the couch and talk to other travelers from all over the world... Frontdesk is helpful and the map is so useful!

Location is either crappy because 10 min walk to Miraflores or else great because 10 min to beach. Much of staff only knew limited English but very nice. Ask for help how to use water heater in bathroom. Nice set up. Floors a bit dirty and should have rugs in bathroom. Overall nice hostel that has a nice,chill vibe. Great for beach time.

Its basically of there was a houseparty two days ago and no one has cleaned up and everyone is just hanging round still... smelly.

Friendly hostel, nice commun areas and helpfull staff

The hostel staff are very friendly and helpful and I liked where it is located in Miraflores. Otherwise, it is pretty much just a regular hostel. The ambiance is a little dingy and they need to put some sort of dresser, stand or clothes hook in the bathroom to make it easier to shower and get ready.

Great hostel with good atmosphere and in a very beautiful and safe are of Lima!

Such lovely staff! We missed our flight so we went back to the hostel and they gave us our private room back at a dorm price!! So sweet! They also have an awesome tv room with really good movies!

If you want to stay in a quiet area in Miraflores its a good choice! The staff is really nice and gives you a duble or triple room for the dorm price if you are travelling in a group of that size. You can see the ocean from the rooftop and it's not more than 2 minutes to the coast road. The rooms are a little bit musty, but it's good value for money!

This was one of my favourite hostel stays during my last 10 weeks of backpacking. Management and staff are great and the atmosphere is very relaxed and makes you feel like you are at home. The hostel is so close to the parks by the beach and so location is perfect. Miraflores is also a beautiful, clean, safe area to stay in. I really recommend this hostel!
