Very helpful staff. They are good about letting you know how to get to places and what to do, where to eat etc. I stayed during the week so it was kind of low key, not much excitement. But the rooms were clean, nice beds, good security, all around a good hostel just not exactly the "party place"Very helpful staff. Awesome place to stay and although we only stayed 2 nights, we really felt at home here. Christian and Pedro that run it are really friendly and helpful (organised us pickup from airport, negotiated taxis to bus terminal and set a itinerary for things we could do while in Lima - I would stay here again anytime. Thanks guys for making Lima great...Awesome place to stay and although we only stayed 2 nights, we really felt at home here. Pedro and Christian (owners) do everything they can to make you have a great experience at the hostel - from surprising people with cakes on their birthday to showing up with a tray full of pisco sours! Backpackers family house is amazing!! Pedro and Christian, the owners, are incredible and go to great lengths to insure you are having a great time. If they aren't making you pisco sours at the hostel, they are taking you out for a night on the town. Backpackers is conveniently located in Miraflores which is safe with plenty to do.I would recommend staying here!!!!!!!!Backpackers family house is amazing!! The staff were very friendly, helpful and fun. If you want to stay up and have a few drinks its good for that but there are also plenty of quiet rooms. This is a good hostel which i would go back to when i return to Lima.The staff were very friendly, helpful and fun. Great hostel which is slightly quieter than most so allows for a good night sleep and you actually meet and talk to more people here than the larger more impersonal hostels.
