This was a very chill hostel, but I felt very safe and the staff were all very kind.

You NEED to stay here. The facilites are perfect and most of all at night, it's so quiet, a real plus in a city this size. When it comes to asking questions, Rafael is amazing with the information. The beds come with new mattresses and soft pillows. The Malecom is 100 meters away and stretches for miles. Excellent value for the money!!!!!

Close to the central area but still quiet. Nice and helpful staff and chatty people. Big beds, clean rooms and bathrooms. Close to the lovely coastal parks on the cliffs. Would definitely recommend it.

Family House is in a charming traditional home. However, it smells musty and there is some mold in the bathrooms. The staff are knowledgeable and eager to help guests in every way. There is a travel agent at the hostel every day to sell bus tickets and excursions. Very handy. Excellent location in Miraflores.

Raphael was a great guy, friendly and helpfull. Good location and quiet enough to sleep. Could use more places to charge equipment in the dorm and breakfast is not very impressive

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hostel. A really nice sixe for a hostel, with a very sociable feel. The staff were very friendly, and the hostel offers all the services needed (and even has satellite TV for all the football)..

Fine, regular hostel. There is a kitchen, but little utilities to cook. There is water the whole day and the location makes it all right. Shower is not the best and not clean (still can't believe people shave in a shared shower and don't clean up). Staff is okayish. Again; location location location

I asked for a private taxi pickup from airport, and it turned out to be a shared service, and I paid 60 soles for that, which is already more expensive than the green taxi at the airport. Maybe it's the low season that the place doesn't have the backpackers atmosphere, but it's generally ok, not clean clean, but the sense of you won't feel it dirty kind of clean. Shower water is small if I remembered clearly.

A good hostel at a decent price. The average scores were due to the fact that the bathroom was being worked on (which we hadn't been advised of beforehand) and we had to go downstairs to a small shower room which wasn't very nice. The bathroom finally got finished on our last day and it was much nicer. Also we were disappointed that the advertised Spanish lessons were not running. On the plus side, it was a brilliant location and all of the staff were really helpful and friendly.
