The nights were freezing.... Our room was right above a bar, so those were some noisy nights!! It was clean when we arrived, but if you looked closer there were a lot of hair in the bathroom, and they were definetely not mine... There was no real reception, so most of the time we were alone in that hostel. Be sure to ask about the check-out conditions, cause the owner didn't tell us. Positive about the hostel was the internet-access (wifi) and its location. walking distance to all major sights!

The only thing that this place has going for it is the location. Aside from that, there\'s nothing really special about it.\"Superior\" apartment has no fridge or towels as per the descriptions. you HAVE to arrive at the agreed time, some guy gives you the keys and takes your money. However, the owners just leave you alone, so if you want to invite mates over you EASILY can (if you know what I mean). Light sleepers, this is NOT the place for you, stumbling distance from the nightlife means NOISE!

Great location for exploring the city of Florence. But, it's on top of a bar and in the middle of the nightlife, so if you don't have earplugs and sleep lightly, you aren't going to get any rest. The room was spacious, but they did not clean it once while we stayed there, there was no soap ( I brought my own as did not want to use the one someone had left behind in the cupboard with hair on it!), the hairdryer didn't work and the floors were dirty. My friend also got eaten alive by mosquitoes.

We had a private room with our own bathroom which was really nice and clean when we arrived. There was a trick to work the toilet but it worked just fine. Giovanni who runs the hostel was nice and helpful, sometimes hard to find him since he's working but always accommodating once you do. It's a small hostel but you get a key to the building and your room and access to a kitchen. Location was really good.

Wonderful bathroom in our room with a great shower! Large rooms with big bright windows, The kitchen was small and lacking on pots and pans, but it is usable. Checkout procedures are not listed anywhere, so be sure to ask when you check in. It's in the heart of the "night life" area of Florence, so be prepared for some noise at night. Around the corner from a very inexpensive Gelato place (the cheapest we saw in Florence by about 1 euro) that has delicious gelato! Definitely a good place!

Heating wasn't working first day, so it was freezing. We had to talk to the staff like 4 times, till something happened. Kitchen was sticky and dirty, our room didn't get cleanig in the days we stayed, when the toilet-paper was empty, we had to ask for it twice... Only the nearness to the city was good!

They do not accept credit cards for payment, only cash. The room was FREEZING cold the entire time. We could only get wifi by sitting in the hallway, not in the room. The drain in the shower was so clogged that you would be standing in two inches of water after a couple minutes in the shower. The first thing one man said to us was to be quiet after ten pm (Nice to meet you too!) Things from other guests left behind (nail clippers on radiator, trash in drawer.) Location was the only good thing.

The rooms were very good according to the prices, only a bit cold. Good locacion, the only inconvenient was that the kitchen was in a different building than our rooms.

The person that received us was very cold. Our room was also cold since the heating system was somehow broken (it was warmer in the corridors than in our room). And we paid for a double bed but we got a room with 3 beds. It was clean but not as cosy as we were expecting. Meh.

Nothing special. No 24 hour reception like the website said. Which was also really bad because we didn't bring towels and were expecting to rent some from reception. Ended up having to use a t-shirt. No one bother us though which was cool.

The staff was not friendly, not helpful, and hardly ever at the hostel. The rooms were nice and very clean. The location was good, but in such a small city any location is pretty good for sightseeing and nightlife. It was quiet and not a very social hostel. It was fine, but I was hoping for something more user-friendly.
