Overall a great hostel if you're looking for a party place - if not, don't go there. Dorms were fine, comfy beds, staff was friendly enough. Breakfast took a little while, but was fine as well. Right next to the famous Sakura bar, but they close at midnight, so no more noise and music after that. Don't book your bus tickets with them, it's a lot cheaper just round the corner on the main road.

Nice hot showers and good breakfast. Staff was very helpful when in the mood for it but sometimes you'd have to wait at the front desk for 10-15 minutes for service. Comfortable surroundings with nice art on the walls. Atmosphere was a bit quiet but relaxed and not totally dead. Dorms were clean and relatively comfortable.

The biggest problem was mosquitos. Have lockers below beds, serving nice breakfast.

internet was quite poor. hostel atmosphere is great otherwise.

Staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was decent, but not filling. Like the lobby area for chilling. Nice warm showers. Recommend to purchase tranportation outside using an agency. 50,000 kip bus ticket, we found out on the actual ticket was stamped only 15,000 kip. Understand some mark up, but over 300%?!! Probably best to go to the actual bus station yourself, especially if traveling in a group. If solo, it's not bad to just avoid the hassle and buy it there.

A good hostel. Breakfast was good, lots of options, only served 7-9. Location was fine, 10-15 minutes walk from the centre, but some good restaurants just a few minutes away. Rooms are clean, and the bathrooms were clean with amazing showers! Only let down was security - no locks on doors, and the lockers were very flimsy, and under the beds so you could lift the mattress to get in. There wasn't always someone on reception so possible for people to just walk in, although this is unlikely.

Pros: -nice bed, hard, but I like it that way -ac in room was strong and on all day -staff nice -food from kitchen was tasty -probably the best included breakfast I've had staying at a hostel -really cool art everywhere -decently good wifi in common area Cons: -loud ass construction during the day while I was there (dec2015), made the place a bit unhospitable during the day -push bikes they rented sucked big time -their motorbikes were broken -wifi didn't reach the room

Long way from the centre but not bad once you've got bearings. No lockers, staff not interested and didn't find them helpful with travel arrangements so booked through another hostel! Not enough bathrooms so long queues in morning and I've never seen as many mosquitos in any other bathroom! Bins weren't emptied very often-beer bottles stood in bathroom from one night to the next. Breakfast is very slow so allow plenty of time

Emailed them a few times with no reply. Number was invalid too. When we arrived we couldn't find the place so ended up booking elsewhere.

Absolutely loved this hostel, the lady at the front desk was amazing, so helpful, went out of her way to help. Good social atmosphere and clean. Only downside was bathrooms were on different level to dorms.

Best hostel in Vientiane - way better vibe than lots of the others, a lot less crazy/loud and more chill, good breakfast in the morning and nice common room area and paintings everywhere.

garden hostel is ok as a place to stay for a short time. It is cheap and I loved the murals painted on the walls. The breakfast was pretty good. The person who checked me in had trouble communicating in English with me when the dorm I was placed in was not the one I had booked. The lockers were not very secure, the beds were predictably hard. The most annoying aspect of this hostel were the bathrooms, only two and the toilet and shower were combined. This meant a long wait to go to the loo!

Friendliest staff around! Loved the free breakfast and homey atmosphere.

Didn't like that the boys in the backyard could see straight into the shower room when I was showering. Breakfast was good, there is a pool and it is close to everything you want. Luang Prabang is a wonderful city!

The staff was very helpful organising a group taxi to the airport. The lockers are just doors under the lower bunk bed. It's a 10-15 walk from the bars and the park but close enough.

I had a great time here, didn't expect too much and, thus, was surprised. Free breakfast (really good!) and friendly stuff. The bathrooms were not completely clean but they weren't dirty either. The rooms clean with aircon. Free wifi (worked properly). The location is not exactly in the centre but it's five minutes away by foot. I liked it here :)

Lets just pros and cons this bad boy. Pros: - Staff do try to help you out if they can especially the younger girl was awesome. - Location isn't bad - Standard free hostel breakfast - Services offered are good Cons: - Mattresses are rock solid (dorm and private) - The "Garden" part looks like the back of a rented bungalow - The common area is a lie, non of that stuff happens and the tv room is a den for the baby Nice enough, don't expect western facilities.
