Had the best weekend away ever staying here in November 2015. Great facilities and value for money. Staff were really helpful and met some great people and had awesome nights out in Gothenburg. As soon as I got home I booked my next stay. Thanks very much again.
Easy to find. But isolated from the rest of the town but otherwise very social.
It is unbelivable the male dorm door always slams. Being a place for 12 people arriving at different times of the night it is impossible to sleep. Beds are too narrow
This is a really nice hostel! The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, and the place is clean and tidy. It looks exactly like it does in the pictures, except there were no curtains for the beds in the female dorm, which I was slightly disappointed about. Otherwise though, it was great!
Few hostels in Gothenburg, so this was our only viable option. Good hostel with everything you need, high quality bathrooms, fully fitted kitchen for use (save money and cook your own food), good wifi (password given at reception wrong!), plug sockets at bed and common area. However there wasn't much atmosphere and people kept themselves to themselves unless you forced interaction; curtains always pulled across dorm beds didn't help this. 40 minute trek from the central station - use the trams.
Such a great hostel, the facilities are perfect and the beds are the most comfortable I have stayed on in months! The bed curtain is great for a good night sleep also. Kitchen area is ok for meeting people and social atmosphere, not the best I have experienced but it's all about give and take.
i loved the place :) staff was nice, place has very family - feeling, and most importantly - super comfortable beds:D hope to visit you again soon guys:)
The hostel has a self cleaning policy which unfortunately not all guests respect and bathrooms aren't the cleanest, not to mention toilet paper I was often out and not refilled. The ventilation system doesn't work very well and bathrooms damp smell all the time. Other than the conditions were alright for the price, but it was a bit cold even with the heating on. At the time of our stay there was renovation going on, but it wasn't much of a bother.
Great hostel - safe, secure, lockers and plug sockets for each bed. Location very close to a tram stop so easy to get anywhere. Plenty of people hanging out in the common area so easy to meet people. Staff absolutely superb - the night staff were really helpful in setting up a way for me to watch the NFL after all the sports bars closed earlier than expected. Can't fault this hostel - would 100% stay here again when next in Gothenburg.
The price is reasonable, they have a lot of bathrooms, a kitchen, the location is good, the bed is comfortable, wifi is available everywhere. On the downside, the 14 bed male dormitory is really small, for most rooms you have to bring your own sheets or pay extra, the breakfast they offer is expensive (70 sek).
Best hostel I've stayed in - very friendly staff and guests. Clean, tidy and quiet, but also sociable. Excellent location if you plan on using the trams to get around, and not too long a walk to nice parts of town too.
Really weird antisocial vibe and the kitchen wasn't maintained at all.
What's best about this hostel is the social setup - all the rooms center around the kitchen and common area so it is very social. The rooms were clean and well equipped with individual lights and baskets. There were enough bathrooms and they were generally clean, although some ventilation for humidity would probably help. The location of the hostel was good, I was able to walk to everything that I did in Gothenburg and the tram was a short walk away. The staff were kind and very helpful!
Location is not bad from the sights:-) I stayed in a 16 bed dorm. Was nice the privacy in every bed. Kitchen was not that clean. Bathroom were very nig, which was nice! But not all of them clean. Would stay there again - but around 20 euro for a dorm is a lot. (16 bed dorm)
This is a nice clean place, with good lockers and every bunk has their own curtain, for a pleasant feeling of privacy not found in all hostels. It's not the place to necessarily make a bunch of friends and go out together, but if you just need a safe, clean place with lockers, this is it.
Was a pretty solid hostel. Only thing that was a real negative is the 25minute walk into town. Not a bad walk but sometimes we felt a bit lazy.
Nice hostel, great staff. the dorms were spacious, and there was a relatively large under bed locker. The kitchen was big and had a box of food that was full of food (pasta and rice) that you can eat.

The dorm is quite big, but there are curtains in front of every bed, so you still can get some privacy. There are big lockable drawers under the beds, in which you can securely store all your luggage. The common area is quite small, but was never too crowded, when I stayed there, and it's easy to meet other travelers there. The hostel is a bit far away from the center, so you have to take the tram to get to the central train station or the city center. But the tram stops just 2 blocks away.
Was a nice hostel, good kitchens with full facilities (there are two kitchens). The hostel staff were very friendly and helpful. Suggested a good bar and various activities. There is a billiards table for 10kr and they even show a movie if requested. The atmosphere was a bit dull and there was a few students who were staying there. The beds were comfortable and the curtains were good for privacy but also contributed to the dull atmosphere cause everyone always had their curtains closed.
