Vey nice hostel close to the trains station. Could do with a handy man as little things around where broken I.e hooks in room hanging off, top of door broken and paint chipping off walls, hand wash dispenser in top bathroom. The staff where nice although this is a very stricked hostel with no where other than your room really to go after 10 if you it want to chill out or call home, also kitchen is a little too small for the amount of people.

The beds were crazy squeaky! If anyone moved an inch the whole room would wake up. Kind of a bummer for sleep purposes. :(

It's a very lovely hostel, very clean, rooms are spacious. I was in room 4 and I had my own balcony which was a bonus. There is a 10pm curfew for the kitchen but there's still a 24 hour smaller kitchen for those who need to sort lunch out for work the next day, which I think is really good. The wifi is really good and the TV room also. All in all, this hostel is really good and I will definitely return when I come back.

Stayed for a week in a mixed dorm which was a box room with 2 bunk beds, no spare lockers and no space to put our bags. No window to fresh air and a fan that didn't work properly so the room was constantly boiling hot. Communal areas were OK, nice garden area and free breakfast was great. Not much of an atmosphere, fairly quiet. Bathrooms could be improved, nowhere to put your clothes in the shower cubicles to get changed after. I wouldn't stay here again.

This is a fab hostel if youre looking for a young, vibrant atmosphere, clean rooms, great shared facilities and a free breakfast! Only down side is the lack of AC as the room's we very stuffy and hot!

Pros: The hostel is brilliantly located in by Kings Cross, with a short 20 minute walk into the heart of Sydney and the Circular Quays. Common areas and rooms are clean and to a high standard. The wifi is good most of the time. Cons: it is a bit of a party hostel. The window to our room was lodged open which made sleeping a slight issue, as you can hear people being loud/screaming/talking.

A wonderful hostel to stay at. Everything a backpacker could hope for. Only downside is the showers could be better/more of them.

This hostel has a easy going feel to it. The staff are friendly and helpful. Cleaners come in everyday for surface cleaning and the bathrooms are okay... If your on the top floor you'll need to go down three flights of stairs to reach a bathroom that one doesn't get cleaned everyday. The wifi is excellent with 8 routers you'll never have a problem loading anything. 2 min to the train station geting to the center of town in under 10 minuets. I'm definitely coming back.

Staying at the hostel was great just a bit annoying at the huge price increase over the festive period other than that I had a great time staff were helpful and the other travelers were awesome too I'd definitely stay here again

It could have been more clean, the kitchen area, the sanitary facilities and the bedrooms. The hostel was nice, but there are some details missing, like small light on every bed, you also had to switch on the big light, so it's not really comfortable for other persons, who are already sleeping. Also the bonk are really noisy.

Positive: In the center of city, walking distance from many tourist spots and just 100 mtrs from Kings Cross station (safe to get back to hostel even late at night, although the area in general has bad reputation). Free breakfast. Friendly staff. Free wifi across the hostel. Negative: Cockroaches all over the rooms and attached toilets. Kitchen remains closed between 10 PM and 7 AM, inconvenient if you need to eat before leave early and come back a little late. Food storage space is very limited

Was charged $110 for staying my last night on the 28/12/2015. Yes rates go up for New Years but to triple the price is just silly - it is a hostel in the end of the day. This also caused many people to check out for a period of time due to not being able to afford such high room prices over the new year period.

I loved this hostel, all the facilities are very modern, it's clean everywhere, wifi works perfectly and the free breakfast and free bbq we're really good, heaps of food and not the cheapest kind! Definitely stay at this hostel, best one in Sydney!

I initially booked 2 nights here, but ended up staying for almost two months! Loved the atmosphere of this hostel, made amazing by the super friendly longtermers, and nice staff. You can get a nice homely feel as it's not a party hostel. Although people are socialising every night, they close the courtyard by 10pm so you can get a good nights sleep. Cleaning could be better. I would definitely recommend this hostel to single travellers looking to make friends. Ps. Bring back the free BBQ!!

Didn't enjoy my stay here. I was stuck in a room with some longterm guests (all male) and it was pretty grim. Place felt dirty. The free breakfast was a plus but the grumpy reception man anoyyed me. I asked to be moved and the only alternative was a tint room with a filthy mattress.Need to invest in mattress protectors!

Good value for money. All the common areas were clean and you have free breakfast (bread, jam, cereals, coffee, tee) We had 8 share and room was big enough and had lockers and sink. Shower was also really good, got good pressure and hot water. Wifi was free and it was best we had so far. Location was great, just next to Kings Cross station and shops on Darlinghurst rd. Staff was friendly, definitely can recommend. Only the kitchen was little bit too small and only one sink.

the owners are really cool although sometimes get a bit stressed and argue with customers. can't speak highly enough of the facilities, free breakfast and a good chilled vibe with the tv room but also a 10pm curfew in the hall so people can sleep too. hear location is cherry on top. Thanks for a great stay!

It was nice and fairly clean..even for a 10 bedroom....but when it got to my last night and i moved into a 14 bed.....it was smelly and disgusting....so its a hit or miss on where youre going to stay....i wouldnt stay here during hot months. Only fans
