The staff were amazing, and really nice. However there were a lot of people there that had been there a long time and needed to keep the rooms tidier. The staff were great with directions and maps and were only too happy to help. I'd stay there again. :)The staff were amazing, and really nice. Relaxed, nice hostel with a good atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's at the end of the road so it is quiet. Showers and toilets are clean, rooms are ok but I guess that's everywhere. HQ is a fun and vibrant hostel perfect for those travelling alone. Events are organised every night at the local bars and clubs and there is a great party atmosphere... everyone gets involved. The staff are friendly- they really help you to settle in and make you feel welcome. It's especially good for travellers looking to stay somewhere long term - defintely the best place I've stayed at in Australia.HQ is a fun and vibrant hostel perfect for those travelling alone. I only stayed one night but there were quite a few long-timers as well. I would definitly go back and I would definitly recommend this place to anyone staying in Sydney. Breakfast was good and it has just what you need to get started on sightseeing. If I had to find a negative it would be that the one bunkbed was really hard to get up on as there was no ladder.I only stayed one night but there were quite a few long-timers as well. Great little hostel in a good location. Friendly staff and guests, a fair few long termers. The only bad point was the small kitchen and not enough showers for the amount of guests. Kitchen a bit run down perhaps it need to make it a bit bigger at the cooking area
very crowded cannot move around with ease
Your staff Deborah and others were very friendly and helpful even sympatize with me cos the Airport Taxi came late I was almost late for my flight They keep calling the driver to come early Overall I am very impressed ,good hostel to stay Kitchen a bit run down perhaps it need to make it a bit bigger at the cooking area

Once you get over the cockroaches in the kitchen and the smelly rooms... you find a very nice, helpfull staff and clean bathrooms. You'll have to give a deposit for everything so be prepared.
