Great Hostel! I met pretty cool people there. Everything was really chillt and relaxed. Only thing that annoyed me a little bit was, that the staff starts cleaning really early in the morning and his very loud while doing this. Woke up sometimes cause of that. But overall I would definetly recommend this hostel and stay there again. Big kitchen, fast and free WiFi and a great town. With booking this hostel you cant do to much wrong!

Awesome place! Very friendly staff with clean facilities and a lot to offer, for free!! Atmosphere was great, with a lot of people travelling through like I was and always keen for a good time. A bit of a walk to the beach, but they have free bikes for use all day everyday so it did not matter really. Really close to all of the shopping as well as the bus stop too. The staff were really nice and helpful with recommending what to do around Byron and what not. Would most definitely go back!!

Enjoyed our 2 nights stay, we stayed during the festival so was quite quiet through the night, facilities were clean, good walking distance to the town and the beach, had a great night out at cheeky monkeys, only downside was all the deposits that are not mentioned on hostelworld.com but do understand where the owners come from. Worth a mention online for future references.

Awsome stay, great deals for Cheeky Monkey across the road if thats your thing. If not, really close to everything else in town. Staff were great people very helpful. Will be staying again

Love the free bike rentals (keep in mind free so they're not amazing but they're free!) and cool outdoor communal space. Seems like it's a converted motel which really seems to work out. Quick walk into the main part of town. Really nothing terribly special but would recommend.

this hostel was OKAY. it was nice they they had something going on every night including the Saturday BBQ which was fantastic (also do vegetarian options). annoying with the deposits but it makes complete sense. absolutely hated the wifi, not only is it only in the lobby but they shut it off once the reception closes. definitely a loud party hostel so if you're not interested in that, is stay elsewhere! good location!

There was a great sense of community with all the staff and guests at the hostel, with organized activities and lots of sports available to play around the yard. Everyone was super friendly for the most part and helpful and my travelling partner and I had a really good time. The rooms were also very clean and comfortable as well as the showers. Although there was no ensuite bathroom, the showers there are actually some of the best I've used. Would definitely stay there again.

Lockers would've been nice.

The rooms are spotless and comfortable - the beds were pretty solid and we had a good night. The staff weren't especially friendly but helpful. Location was great, it is on the main street and walking distance to the beach/shops.

Absolutely loved it here and kept extending, ended up staying 16 days instead of a couple. The kitchen is big and fully equipped, (bath)rooms are clean and the staff is absolutely amazing! They have something going on every night, but you can also relax in the TV room. People mark them down for asking for a deposit for cups and plates etc, but the kitchen stays very this way and you get your money back anyways!

THx for a great one-night stay. Great atmo, nice staff. Kitchen was well equipped and tidy. Bathrooms and shower facilities clean, felt quite calm although on Johnson St. Opposite of Byron#s famous cheeky monkeys. Board surf possible, just ask for wax (unfortunately no real beginner boards).

We stayed in a private room and it was fantastic! Would definitely recommend if you don't mind a bit of noise outside your window at night.

Liked this spot; were only around for one night but it was good.

A little bit expensive for a dorm, but a whole lot of services are included and it is located right at the center of the town

In my opinion, this is a pretty smartly run hostel. In my experiece, it was very social but if you wanted to get some sleep you could also do that as well.

The atmosphere would have been fine had I been 18 wanted to party, however, I had been traveling and wanted to sleep, so the loud party right outside my room wasn't helpful. The people I was sharing with also left the door wide open most of the time, so my things were not secure.

Holiday village is totally ok. For me, personally, too much party in the common areas from early evening on (but ends at 10:30pm). And wifi could be 24hrs instead of only the reception hours (till 9pm).
