Such a great and social place. Best hostel in iquique
Really nice place. A fully equipped kitchen, many cozy tables both inside and outside. Good breakfast. We loved our stay in the double room!
Very beautifull and clean hostel. Nice area to sit outside. The hostel is also near the beach. I really enjoyed my stay. I planned to stay one night and ended up with three!
Excellent kitchen, very helpful staff, nice location and very near to supermarket. Communal bathrooms were decent enough although our double bedroom could have done with a bit of work. Overall a decent hostel.
The nicest hostel I've stayed in during my 6 month travels in South America. Very clean and new! Spacious. Lots of great areas to hang out. Awesome and spacious kitchen. Great location ... 5 minutes from the beach. 10 minutes from a grocery store. Only complaint is that there was never warm water in the showers. But I'd definitely recommend this hostel.
Surfer orientated hostel across the road from the beach. Short walk to a shopping market and Mercado Central.
Well run hostel, helpful staff and just across the road from the beach.
Perfect for Surfers, just 1 minute away from the beach! Nice Location, nice people. cheap price! They organize paraglyding, surfingclass and sandboarding for you!
This hostel is close to the beach and is about a 20 minute walk from the town centre. The staff are English speaking and friendly and the facilities here are good. There is a spacious kitchen for guest use and plenty of communal areas to chill out downstairs. There is a computer for guest use and a TV to watch movies. The dorms are spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and there`s hot water for showers. You will need to get a taxi to get here from the bus station.
One of the better hostels around Chile, clean, friendly and relaxed, so we stayed longer then planed.
Social hostel with good communal areas, big, well equipped kitchen and nice and near beach.
Great central location, especially if you want to spend time on the beach. Mall of the Americas is close, as well as a few big supermarkets (HiperLider, Jumbo, and Unimarc). Very comfortable place - a very welcoming environment.
Stayed there for one night in a mixed dorm. We arrived before 6am, and got to check in and get to the room to sleep straight away(was moved from female to mixed dorm to get the room that early). The dorms are pretty big, beds are great and you get a duvet. Wifi worked great all over the hostel. The kitchen is big, and the common areas are also big with lots of places to sit. It is located by the beach, and a 10-minute walk from the main sqaure. Overall a great hostel.
The host didn't show us around the hostel. Although it was great with breakfast every morning, bring cheese and ham if you don't like jam.
I wish that the kitchen closed a bit later and could open earlier, or at least facilitate heat water for coffee. And in my opinion a flat in dining rooms to enjoy the programming while you eat (our custom Chilean culture)

Backpackers Iquique was a really excellent place to stay. The staff were really accommodating (we arrived at 4am), we met some really terrific people as the common area is fine to chat, breakfast was good, location right over the road from the beach is perfect, a short walk into the main centre. Plenty of room in the good kitchen (except at peak hour dinner time). We had a double room with bathroom, which was comfortable and clean. Individual lockup boxes available for valuables.
Good hostel near to the beach, nice atmosphere and staff.
A nice hostel with a pleasant ambience very close to the beach, nicely decorated. WIFI works mostly downstairs, not in the rooms. Helpful English speaking stuff. Breakfast was rather delayed on a Sunday morning and I had to skip it to rush for my flight, but that's a minor issue.
