a really cool place, felt like I been in my own home, with the lovely dog!!

Backpacker`s Hostel Iquique is a lovely hostel directly on the Beach. Bathroom is clean, but often wet (people take often showers, because they come from the beach). Nice rooms, hope nobody needs to clime the top bed (3 level). People are friendly. Limited Breakfast. Super market 3 Blogs away. 30 mins to city center.

The Hostel has the best location ever! Beach right in front of the door. Facilities are pretty good ( good kitchen). BBQ is recommendable. The showers are a little bit creepy because it's an all in one combination with the toilet... Breakfast is pretty basic. All in all good value for money and we enjoyed our stay there!

This hostel has a really good vibe, loved the deco and they have BBQ every other night so its a great opportunity to meet the rest of the guests. Staff was friendly and they even went out dancing with us and they made sure we all got back home safe. The location is really close to the best beach of the city and close to licour store, i would love to go back there. The bathrooms were a little dirty because of the sand but it wasnt a big deal to me. Bed was really comfy

This was my second visit to Iquique and therefore my second visit to Iquique backpackers because it´s so awesome. Amazing location, clean and super cool staff, very helpful!!! Great atmosphere and the terrace on the roof is epic. Cant wait to go back again!!! Thanks for everything!

nice kitchen, helpful staff. bunk beds a bit cramped I couldnt even sit up in bed. nice balcony overlooking the beach. hostel is a bit small though.

Well, this was my first experience and really enjoyed it, I will return very soon, the people were nice and I liked interacting with people from other countries.

Location is definitely one of the highlights of the hostel, right across the street from the beach. Huge area on the first floor to hang out, with couches and TV, pool table, bar, tables, and outdoor patio. There's always a bunch of people hanging out, so it's easy to meet people. Bathroom for the dorms is kind of weird - the toilet and shower are in the same stall, and it doesn't stay very clean. The other bathrooms are cleaner. No WiFi in some of the rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Thanks to the very nice people at the recepzon and kitchen I had a very good stay in this special hostel. In fact, I liked it so much that I hardly went out to discover the city or the beach during my 2 day stay... Highly recommended when you need a place to stay with a relaxing atmosphere after a long motorcycleride.

Everybody very kind. We had a problem with our room that was not available when we got there. They managed to find a nice hotel nearby, paid for it and were very helpful and sorry for their error. The atmosphere is friendly, kitchen very complete. Quite a few nice places to relax and a small terrace with a beautiful view to the sea and beach. The rooms are not all as nice as the n10 we had second day, but OK.

Great! Mario e Miriam are great! The hostal is cool, is calm, and I had great moments there. Definitely recommended!

Really liked this hostel. Good location near beach, decent kitchen, good facilities, clean, nice staff. Surfer hostel.

The hostel was absolutely great, awesome atmosphere, clean rooms and bathrooms. The only problem we had was that at our arrival (at 5.30am) the guy who was at night wasnt friendly at all, he was on the couch and said to us "go to the back, there you can stay until is clear in the morning") and he didnt even turn on the lights for us in order to reach the back of the common areas.... Other than that the hostel was fantastic, the woman at the kitchen and the man at breakfast were fantastic as well

tHERE WWERE NO SAFETY PROCEDURES IN PLACE. STAFF HAS NO PROCESS IN PLACE IF SOMEONE IS INJURED. EG A GUEST ADVISED F A BEGGAR GOING THRU SOMEONES BELONGINGS THERE WAS NO ATTEMPT TO CONTACT THE POLICE TO SEE WHOSE PASSPORT OR BELONGINGS IT COULD BE. WHEN I NOTIFIED THEM THAT I FELL FROM THE TOP BUNK AND INJURED MY RIGHT ARM THERE WAS NO ATTEPT TO SEE IFI NEED MEDCAL HELP OR NT.NO ASSISITANCE FOR TAKE MY BELONGINGS NEXT DAY FOR TRANSPORT TO AIRPORT.THEY COULD BE SUED FOR NEGLIGENCE

Nice hostel, clean rooms and kitchen, but in the night it was often very loud until 2 AM.

Very nice hostel - next to the beach. Good brakfast, fast wifi and nice bbq"s. Wouls stay there again!
