K's Hiroshima was a great place to stay! It had a communal character and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We hadn't booked any other hostels for the second leg of our trip and K's had branches in several other cities in Japan including Kyoto and Tokyo. We were so pleased with our experience at K's Hiroshima that we booked the rest of our trip at K's and received a discount for loyalty!

First hostel experience in Japan and I was very happy. K's house Hiroshima was very clean, rooms were nice and I was especially happy with hairdryers on every floor. Kitchen was well equipped. Would definitely recommend for friends traveling to Hiroshima.

The staff was very helpful especially when we needed to call another hostel to let them know that we would be coming late.

Staying at K's was amazing. They are a great chain of hostels and I would recommend staying at any one of their locations. The staff is extremely helpful and every dorm room has its own key to get in and safe beneath the beds. The showers are really nice along with all of their other facilities. Its not too far from the train station and its right next to a 7/11, Sukiya and CoCo's restaurant. It is about 40 min to the miyajima ferry through train.

Nice hostel a few tram stops from the train station. Helpful staff and nice common area. Japanese rooms were large and comfortable. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms/showers etc. Well run hostel.

K's backpackers hostel Hiroshima was probably the best run hostel I've been to. Great location (5 min walk from train station, also just off the tram route), good restaurant nearby, super friendly, excellent common area with free tea and coffee, fantastic kitchen with huge fridge, stove, kettle and microwave.. Comfortable dorms and an adequate amount of shower rooms and toilets for a fairly full hostel. I would definitely recommend K's Hiroshima and would come back if I had the chance.

the staff was super nice and friendly. it was raining and you could take an umbrell from the hostel for free. There was a lot of information and bike rental if you wanted. I had to send some mail in the post office and there is one really close to the hostel. One night they were giving us local sake to taste! Met some awesome people and learned a new game from holland 'Koe Handel' ;) downside: only one shower and toilet per floor. it wasnt a problem as we werent a lot of people.

Amazing hostel! Best location in Hiroshima, very easy to get around. The staff is awesome, very helpful and friendly. Common room is excelent. Had a really good time there! The only thing I didn't like was you had to pay for using the common PC (although WiFi was free). I would definately stay here again.

This hostel was awesome. I met so many great people here, as the common area is nicely set up. My only complaint is that the sinks for the rooms are kind of awkward in the narrow hallways...

Stayed in a 3-person private room in May 2013. The interior seems fairly new and the staff is friendly and helpful. The building is on a side street so there isn't a lot of traffic noise, and it's not a party hostel -- we were able to get a good night's sleep. Shared toilet and shower but the room had a sink which was convenient. Activity level in the common room in the evening varied; sometimes there was nobody there and other times it was crowded with lots of conversation.

Very nice hostel with cool living room and kitchen. However, I paid for a 4 bed dorm and they put me in a very cramped 5 bed dorm. The dorm was fine, just very cramped, and if I'm paying more for a 4-bed, I should get that. Great location.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the "Taco Party" organized by K's staff! Look out for the "Pirate in a barrel game" :-) Room was clean and of good dimension, not as small as other guesthouse may be. It is located 1 min. walk from the cable train station and approx. 8 minutes walk from the JR Hiroshima Station. There is also a convenience store right around the corner. We had a great time there and we recommend it without the shadow of a doubt. Nancy & Sam Montreal, Qc, Canada

The facilities, staff and amenities were all quite good for the price. My stay was in a mixed dorm, and facilities were comfortable with a good sized secured locker under the bunk. Had a great time sharing stories and drinks (vending machine with beer and 7-11 right around the corner) with fellow travelers in the public lounge. Really great location, not far from the train station, nevertheless I had some difficulties initially locating. The hostel is located on a quiet side-street, which was not well m

Great, centrally located hostel that has spotlessly clean facilities, a friendly and helpful staff, and really nice common areas which include a roof garden.

Wow. This quiet and relaxed hotel exceeded my expectations. Cheap bike rentals made it so easy to go around this amazing city, don't hesitate to try one! Also the staff is just adorable and they are so friendly, take advantage of it and talk to them and ask them what they like to do in their city! Hiroshima is quite intense but you can still have a lot of fun here, just sit and talk to people in the tv room! Nomi Hodai places can be found for as cheap as 1200 yen for 2 hours. Ask the staff!!!
