After all, a nice, clean Hostel, which looks more like a hotel. I found in like 10 min from the Station, the surrounding is nice, and you can get almost all you want in a 5 min walking distance Though, i didn't feel quite well in it, the only thing that's missing is... flair. I'm not sure if i would book it again if i travel on my own again, but it's definitly worth it as a couple; which means no stress and no bad surprises.

Great hostel chain, the only downside is the over crowded rooms.

This was a wonderful place to stay and I enjoyed every moment of it. Met lots of great people, had two comfortable nights' rest, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and showers are especially awesome. I always enjoy my time at K's!

A great place - bright, clean and in an excellent location. There was lots of information about things to do in the local areas as well as free tea and coffee and a nice kitchen. I would stay here again!

The impression we had was that this hostel is has the right approach to budget tourists. Other hostel guests were from many nations and we had a nice dining kitchen area to socialize. We are 60-ish travellers who wanted a reasonable place to stay. The price for what was included was excel, lent. The room was very small, but was adequate for two to sleep and even had a small counter for us to put our stuff and to hold the tv on. The bathroom was a prefab unit. Friendly bilingual staff.

Adding curtains to the dorm beds would top it all off!

Stayed for two nights in a mixed dorm. This hostel is obviously new so it's VERY clean and still nice with no scuffed walls or broken taps. The bathrooms are excellent and the decor throughout is of a high standard. It's only a 5 min stroll from the station and about 1 min walk from the main tramline. Friendly staff and highspeed wi-fi on every floor.

A bit difficult to locate, but acceptable nevertheless. Should offer optional breakfast facilities. Somewhat impersonal

Thin walls/noisy doors. But if you are a deep sleeper, this place is great.

As with most hostels in Japan, it ticks every box - bedlamps, curtains on bunkbeds, clean showers. Lacks atmosphere though and the reception is only open certain times of the day. Also, if you are put on the 5th floor, it is a trek up the stairs with your rucksack as they don't have a lift. It does the job for one night but there are places with much more atmosphere for the same price in Kyoto.

We arrived after 22:00, and even though the front desk was closed for the night, the attendant (sorry, I missed her name!) was still in the lobby and gave us our room key. She even took the time to discuss the hostel rules, tell us where the bathroom and shower room were located, and give us a quick overview of the neighborhood.

We spent one night here.. this hostel has a great atmosphere. As a couple we could enjoy a double bed and an own bathroom! The location was also great. The the girl at the reception desk was very helpful and gave us a great tip where to grab some good sake! This is a ho(s)tel chain, so the only thing I am a little bit sorry for is why I havent checked out the rest before:)

Walking distance from the JR rail station. The staff goes beyond helping with your itinerary, it was never a bother to ask too many questions. They will recommend some great hole in the wall restaurants in the area that have good value for your money.
