Great! Couldn't be happier!
Best hostel I've been to
I really enjoy my stay in K house, despite of the cleanliness; the staff is very helpful and attentive.
Close proximity to Kuramae Station. Clean hostel with basic amenities provided. Has a kitchen with fridge and the basic condiments you need for cooking, that will help to save money.

The place looks impressive. I stayed in both Ks House Tokyo and Tokyo Oasis. Both hostels are very good and looks new, with Oasis being a bit better. Both hostels good for socializing and meeting new people. The rooms and facilities look nice. If I have to nitpick is the 6 bed dorm room while nice seems a little tight when there is full occupancy but still acceptable. Especially since I spend most of my awake time away in the common area and kitchen and only used the room for sleeping
Felt very at home the entire time and everyone on staff is really helpful and super nice and friendly. The common/kitchen space is pretty comfortable. it's definitely more of a family hostel with older clientele. Not your average youth/party hostel. Rooms are really small, but that's Tokyo for you. Kind of far from the more "hip" areas of Tokyo, might explain the crowd but really close to some historic sites in Asakusa and Ueno.
The staff were very accommodating and understanding to my needs, despite not checking in ontime. The facilities and sleeping arrangements were also of a high quality.
Nice hostel with very friendly staff
K's house Tokyo is a very cozy place to stay in Japan, staffs are helpful and friendly, and the location really near the subway exit and asakusa temple, besides, it's very convenient to go to the airport.
I'm not usually one to write reviews on this site but I felt I really should for this place. K's House Tokyo is staffed some of the most friendly, warm, and helpful people I've encountered at any other hostels I've stayed at. The facilities themselves are very incredibly and clean, with everything you could need. Haha, I probably sound like I work at the place but honestly it's just that good of a hostel. If and when I ever get back to Tokyo it's a no brainer where I'll be staying.
Probably the best hostel i have ever stayed in!
Super power showers! Excellent plug facilities and night light beside your bed. Wonderful assistance from all staff. Great information available re. what to do and see in Tokyo. Free tea and coffee and filtered drinking water. Common area is very homely and cozy. Nice place to relax and be sociable. Excellent Wifi. The shoe section needs to be fresher. The space in the 4 bed dorm is tight enough. Reception closes between 10pm and 8am, a 24 hr reception would make this into a super hostel.
The staff here made my stay at the hostel, they were so knowledgeable and helpful and sweet too! It was a pleasure to be 'home'. The place is very clean, and it is what you would expect from a chain hostel. It felt like it could be in Europe, which is not a judgment of good or bad, just not very Japanese. They did have a free drinks night which was nice and also are very conveniently located. Also, go to the train sushi restaurant on their map near Asakusa station, delicious.
You can't fault K's House hostels.. I stayed 3 weeks in Japan and ended up in 4 different Ks Houses.. each excellent. All extremely well maintained, great dorms, lovely common areas, excellent bathrooms, super friendly staff, good locations. With the discount card I saved about $20 because I stayed at so many Ks Houses! Highly Recommended. Also recommend staying here and walking just down the road to the NUI Hostel bar, open to public and easy to meet backpackers and Japanese locals.
It's a nice place and not too difficult to find from the metro which is great. Decent environment inside. OK staff.
Stay here if you like helpful staff, great facilities and comfortable beds. Whenever I had a question the staff were very helpful and precise in their answer. Always smiled and greeted you (very important to me). Doing the washing was cheap and the dryer was free...amazing. Little bit away from some party areas but totally subway friendly. Mixed crew of people who stay there both in age and race, good mix and I met some top people. The Nui hostel across the road has an awesome bar to party in.
Lovely staff, very clean hostel. What really makes it special is the combined reception/kitchen/lounge/tv areas which you get to as soon as you come in the door, so it easily becomes very social. Had a fantastic time here :)
Would highly recommend staying at K's house, Tokyo. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The good points are: 1. Extremely clean 2. Easy place to meet other travellers 3. Good location - 2 minute walk to the oedo and asakusa subway lines 4. Great value for money 5. Great facilities - incl laundry, wifi, kitchen etc I will hopefully be back to stay again soon!
Very helpful staff, friendly people - a good base to explore Tokyo from
The staff was very nice and accommodating! They had great recommendations for places to go and were very helpful in finding information about the bus schedules, etc. The rooms were very nice, some of the nicest hostel rooms I've stayed in. I could tell their standard for cleaning was very high. I liked that the showers had their own separate room. I wish the roof were open past ten, but I understand that the noise level would be inconsiderate of the neighbors. I wish the common area was bigger.
