Very friendly and homely hostel, in a quiet location. Kind of remote with trains to the station far and few in between, however this was during summer when the area is mostly shut down (not ski season). Staff were incredibly nice and helpful!

The hostel is in a great location but we were there out of season so it was quiet. Toshi and family are incredibly friendly, very helpful and have good english. They helped us with our next move on and with organising some skiing on the last day of the season. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the facilities in the kitchen were excellent, including washing and drying of laundry.

Toshi and his family made us feel very welcome and were always willing to help, great location near the slopes, very clean and easy to chat to other guests in the conmon areas. Would highly recommend to others :)

Being at K's house was like staying at a friends place more than anything. But even better was the deals you get while staying there; being such a small community they have it so both your rentals and lift tickets are cheaper (if you head out early enough.) The only thing is it's pretty far from the grocery store, but to compensate they sometimes drive you and thenother guests to get supplies.
