Pros: Excellent atmosphere Nice employees Nice travelers through all ages Colourful building Good common areas with swimming pool and bar, roof terrace. Cons: more than 20 US$ per night for: no fan working, no aircon Shower is flooding the toilet and vice versa Kitchen is very poorly equipped Breakfast average (probably “good” for Argentina, but if you are used to a real good breakfast …) Dinner (included in price) can be in quite small quantities, that’s no good after a hard day of

We had a great time at this hostel. Breakfast is great, dinner average but who can complain at a free dinner! Its a great place to meet people and has good facilities, 5-10 min walk to the centre of town. They put on a great party for New Year too, just a shame the bathroom wasnt cleaned during our stay!!

I enjoyed my stay here however I found the hostel to be a bit impersonal. Most of the staff arent very friendly and while there are a lot of nice communal areas, the hostel is a bit of a maze like others have said. Its not as sociable as other hostels I have been to but it is still fairly easy to meet people and the free dinners are good.

The hostel is 10 minutes by foot from the main square. The staff was very helpfull and nice. They offer free dinner every night (empanadas or chicken). They clean the rooms everyday. The breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary. The airport is 10 min by taxi.

Very nice staff! Lively hostel, a bit far from the bus terminal especially if your suitcase is heavy...Free dinner is provided. There is a bar near the swimming pool.

All in all, average backpacker's hostel. Had a nice outdoor area and patio, but facilities like room/bathroom are quite dirty. Not located far from the bus station but not very central either. Breakfast consists of the usual bread with coffee/tea selections. I noticed their beer prices in the bar are quite high. The wifi is decent in the living room area. Possibly easy to meet people, however the hostel is quite big and like a maze so you sometimes don't see people after the first time.

It´s very informal. Sometimes the person at the desk will show you around, sometimes not. If not, just ask them . Overall the staff is nice. Food is decent. For dinner, over 3 nights, had empanadas, pizza, and chicken salad on last night. Breakfast is bread, jam, coffee, etc. Beds were ok, sheets were clean. Problems with plumbing, getting hot water. Great place to meet other people. Kinda shady at nights. A few blocks from main square. Decent stay.

We weren't happy from the moment we arrived - we had a private room and even for hostel standards it was ridiculously small. We have been backpacking for 7 months and this was the first hostel were we couldn't even fit our bags in the room!! The girl on reception was not at all friendly. The location was blocks from the central area. We ended up checking out after 1 night and moved 1 block away from the Plaza in a new Hotel for only $20AUD more a night - would not stay here again or recommend it

Wonderful wonderful wonderful! The staff were great. The food was great (free dinner? who does that?!?!?!) The tours they put me on were ace... I spent 7 nights here and actually could have stayed a few more. The diversity of guests was amazing. It's not just foreigners-- Argies stay here too!!! Thanks to the great team for making me feel so at home!! This is a place I would go back to (and probably will) :D

You can get in touch with many people - we liked that. Dinner and breakfast is not the best but included in the price. Book over hostelworld and you save half price! The sheets and towels are clean but the rooms and especially the bathrooms are very run down. The kitchen is not well equipped and filthy. Please do not book a tour over the hostel. It is a rip off! There are three computers but only one works properly. And the pool - we can not recommend to swim in there.

FREE dinner is amazing!! We had empanadas, pizza & bbq(additional money). There is a bar joining the hostel- but we couldn't hear any music when we were trying to sleep. The walls are thin enough so you can hear ppl during the night. The staff were really helpful & the walk to the main plaza was about 10 mins stroll.

Stay at this place if you are on a really tight budget, the beds are cheap and they offer free food at night. But its just food, nothing tasty. The hostel is old, noisy and they don´t clean very often. They offer tours but they just put you in a bus with people that booked at (cheaper) tour companies in town. Green stuff was floating in the pool when i was there. I heard the backpacker suites is a much nicer place to stay.
