Reception staff very happy

Staff were very maternal and helpful. The wine tour was exactly what we needed. The hostel provides ridiculously cheap dinner, and it is really good! We ate for 105 pesos over 3 nights. Wifi also good!

Backpackers Salta was recommended to me by a friend in Buenos Aires...the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the facilities and rooms are generally good/clean. The showers are hot but the breakfast is just bread and drinks...not the best. Cooked a good dinner for us all every night and the fellow people staying made the atmosphere much better. All round a good place but if you want a busier atmosphere maybe try Backpackers Suites Salta.

The wardrobe was poor, had nos shelves or space for clothes. Bathroom os tiny and few light. Kitchen is small for 3 people cooking at the same time. Outside park is great. Wi fi and computer are slow.

Nice and cheap. Some staff were excellent (notable mention to Alejandra on reception) - most helpful and friendly. Other staff seemed somewhat disinterested. It was pretty quiet when I was there, so didn't meet too many people, so the atmosphere was a little flat. Travel agency attached to the hostel was handy, but I had a minor disagreement with them when a day-tour was aborted midway thru due to weather. Minor quibble.

The best part are the towels, big and fresh.. and the staff are reasonably friendly, thats about it. Just a typical party (noisy) hostel. Long walk from the centre with not much around it, no shops nearby. We'd stayed at a better hostel but had to unfortunately change due to availability. Funniest is a sign saying they serve the best breakfast.. Nope, just bread and coffee/tea and sugary juice. Could say a few more complaints... Meh.

The location is a bit of a walk from the main plaza, but it's a great place to meet other backpackers. Breakfast is nothing to write home about.
