Overall a good hostel, the free dinners are a nice touch even though the vegetarian food could be better.

Nice hostel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast with homemade bread. The pool makes up for other shortcomings.

Hostel was clean and the staff were very helpful. I only stayed one night and had my own room so I cannot comment on security. The have nightly meals and the night I was there they had an asado which was great for AR$25. The hostel is a little walk from the centre but the staff provide you with a map and highlight all the things to see for you and even mark out a recommend route to take. Beds were nice and comfy and there are ample areas to do what you want.

Really nice hostel. 10 minute walk from city centre and 15min from bus station. Staff were really nice, my friend was sick and they called for a doctor to come out and paid for it. The free meals were great too. The hostel also have lots of tours and stuff to do on offer and there is a bar and pool so in the evening people go out there for their free dinner and you get to meet lots of people as a result. Definitely recommend this place.

If you do not care that many restrooms have doors that cannot be locked and are not so clean, that the matress is very soft breaking your back and that the staff is very nice and smiling to people who speaks spanish but not so "cool" to who is so dump to not speak spanish... you may enjoy yor stay. I met nice people and the hostel offers a good structure to socialise with other backpackers, BUT NICE PEOPLE ARE NOT A FEATURE RELATED TO THE HOSTEL ITSELF.

I loved the free dinners at night, it was so social, they catered for vegetarians and the food was pretty good. It was great value...

Great stuff, good free dinner (after the first day they took good care of our vegetarian :) and good tours! We really liked to stay there and its not too far to the center ot the busterminal. But if you want to wash we would recommend Lava-Laundry (same street, just 5 minutes towards the center), because its much cheaper. Breakfast was okay (basic) but the bread was really good (self-made!) We would definitely stay there again!

The hostel was very clean and we were overall very happy with our stay there! HOWEVER, when they booked tours for us through their agency and two of the tours ended up being to the same place. We told the Backpackers staff of the error that we paid and did the same thing twice which is a shame because there is so much to see there and its a lot of time in the car to go to the same place. They said it was a mistake but we were not compensated in anyway. They were not interested in fixing this.

I changed the Hostel, not because of the Hostel, but because of the stuff. They are extremely unflexible and especially the lady, working in the afternoon and evening, really unfriendly.

The staff is really the best. The make everything you want happen. The breakfast was good, the bread was made by themselfs. Dinner is vegeterian, but nice for the appetite. The rooms were cleaned everyday and the bathrooms were tidy. There are 3 PCs but they are slowly and switch off spontanously. The hostel is a bit away from the city centre but you walk 10 min.

The hostel said that dinner was served at 9:30 everyday, however it was only ever served on time once. I understand that since dinner is included we can't be too picky but once it was an hour and a half late and we ate at 11pm. Gratefully, the hostel did accommodate our vegetarian friend. The 'lockers' in each room are a bit deceiving, they don't really lock, it's a cupboard. The hostel should make it known you should bring your own lock if you want to lock up your backpack. Staff was helpful.

The older guy who works here is amazing but good luck getting any help from the younger girl at reception. The free group dinners are amazing and an awesome way to meet other travellers. I would recommend getting a dorm without an ensuit as the shared shower and toilet are much nicer then the ones in room.
