The hostel is overally clean- it is a student house during the academic year, the rooms are spacious and have balconies, the kitchen facilities are great. What I didnt like is that the matress and pillows are covered with foil- not very comfortable, the internet is a city connection- did not work on my smarton and I really needed it on the evening I stayed there. Also a drawback is that it is quite far. Overall, Ok to stay for a night, but nothing really exciting.
It was a good hostel with a nice kitchen, fully equipped. However if you do not have a european sim card, you cannot use the wifi.
This was advertised as a hostel and it's not! It is simply university student accommodation made available over the summer season. It was very difficult to find and the directions given are inadequate. There is no free WiFi unless you get a code from the library which is is in the centre of town, We arrived at 7.30 on a Friday evening so no WiFi until Monday! The rooms are VERY hot with no fan or air-con. The mattresses and pillow are plastic coated. It was terrible. NOT value for money.

Honestly, I was surprised to discover the rooms had no fans or any other option to cool the room down in high 30s degree heat. The beds were so plasticky that I was sweated through after minutes on the best and the windows had no fly screens so I was bitten by bugs at night because if the windows were closed, the room was stifling. The shower had no head. The location is far out of Verona and really not a convenient place, especially as after 8pm when the buses drop to every 45mins.
We booked this hostel quickly (without reading reviews or looking at any specifics) as we were desperate to find somewhere to stay last minute & I have to say I was really impressed. Not only were the rooms clean and spacious, the location good for the station and main square, the staff were absolutely wonderful. Ricardo & his colleague went above & beyond to help us out and make our unplanned stay as good as possible so a HUGE thank you to them.
