The location was terrible, a 30 minutes walk to the nearest subway and trough a bad neighborhood. other guests were so creepy that we almost ran away form the hostel in the middle of the night. Youngest people there were over 40 years old. I woke up with roaches in my pillow. another guest locked the bathroom and we couldn't get in all night. very depressing and scary atmosphere. really the worst hostel experience i ever had.

The boss is a complete ASS (and i'm not the only one who thin so). Check in was suppose to be at 8 am but he wanted me to wait until 11 am !! because he was too busy trying to make money organizing a shuttle of 9 people to go to the city center. Then on my last day, a monday, the hostel was empty (we were 4 people) so the light were switch off in the hall, the kitchen (with my food in it) was closed !!!!! and the night gard or whoever he was, didn't had the key !!!! and didn't care UNBELIEVABLE

Far out of the way of anything of any interest to anyone! Felt like community centre/old peoples home. Kitchen was pathetic, no toaster/microwave/oven and only one working hot plate making cooking with 40 other people a nightmare! Rooms were clean, but again didn't feel like a hostel. Shuttlle to metro was old and rusting away, and they didn't depart at scheduled time, more when there were enough people to fill it. Don't understand why pub is in the name, fridge with beer.

First and foremost if you pay the 10% down for the hostel please know that the 10% will not be deducted from your total bill. The owner of the hostel said he had no affliation with hostel world and had no idea about any 10% down payment. Secondly, there is no pub, the owner has a fridge with Budweiser for $3 a piece. Written "pub" on the fridge. Overall pretty grungy as well. I would recommend the hotel Wyndham down the street. You can find cheap rates on hotels.com

Locatio is bad. I couldn't open the directions window on my computer, so got off at Wellington station according to a fellow traveler' review. Took a bus and walked .. walked.. with my heavy back pack. Staff at the front desk wasn't firedly at th begining, but later brought a smile on the face. Yes , the man said he would be taking a group to the station at 7.30 am (on shuttl bus) but it was a lye. My bedding was smelling some one's sweat. No heating on freezing cold night! Would not recommed

Not sure what people are moaning about, I had an AMAZING time here. The staff were cool, rooms were fine. Six free to use computers. Free pool, TV's to watch. It was obvious there trying to improve the place as some bits of the place could do with a lick of paint. Its slightly out of Boston in Everett, but its not a bad place, plenty of shops and places to eat just down the road. The subway is 15 min walk away, or many buses go that way, which if you get a subway pass are free.

This is one of the worst hostels I have stayed in. There was no value for money at all. The location was not great at all and the hostel itself needs a major upgrade. Didn't feel safe or clean in this place and definitely won't be recommending it to anyone.

The hostel, it seems, is banking on people not knowing Boston. It's far north of the city, in Everett. I googled '13 School St, Boston' a location came up right downtown. It's a radioshack. We saw several other people there, looking for it. Luckily someone who knows the city/had a smart phone was willing to help us. Sure I can be blamed for not entering a thorough enough address... but I also think the hostel could make it a little more obvious... why would they tho? bad for business.

I only spent one night in this hostel. It was good enough but not very enjoyable. I wouldn't stay there for a longer period.
