Very clean! Staff were excellent! They were very helpful in recommending things to do, places to see, restaurants, etc!

Had a great time at this hostel. Computers to use freely, planty of wifi, pool table and recreational area, everything you need. Staff are great! Very helpfull and friendly especially chris and julie. You can get a lift from staff through a shuttle service to the train station which enables you to get to all main areas of boston.

Everyone was really nice and helpful. I felt totally relaxed. Great service, clean and well-managed. I'd definitely stay again.

I registered for female room for two nights. The first night all of travellers in the room are females. Next day when I came back at night, there were two males in the room. This made me very disappoint with the poor management of the hostel.

Spent there almost a month, so it's definitely a good place. In a bad place I'd never stay for so long. It's easy to get from here to the center: you got shuttle - then it's a few subway stops. Kitchen is quite small, but you can cook. Everything's clean, I never has troubles there with a shower (although there's only one for men). Spent a lot of times in Backpackers Pub - ideal place, if you're a sports fan. On top of that - very-very friendly staff: people really care about you!

Very lovely staff, they were so accommodating, and fairly nice place to stay. My complaints are that it wasn't that much cheaper than some other hostels that were much closer in the city. It was always quite an expedition to get into the city. Also they could do with having lockers in each of the rooms.

The hostel fit the description well and met all of my needs, but by no means was it a modern or high-end stay. The hostel still has a coziness to it and the staff is friendly and inviting. The common room is a great place for mingling and meeting others and the fact that they allow alcohol allows guests to wind down with a glass of wine or beer and share with others.

if you can, just avoid this place. I had to spend one night there because the other hostel was fully booked. Awful location by a very busy road and all the facilities are old and dirty.

I loved sating in this hostel. It's a family run hostel, staff are very friendly and willing to sit down and get to know their customers. Would recommend it to anyone. They also bring you to and from the subway station at any time of the day Or night in order for you to get to central boston

It is a good hostel although it is not pretty close to the center. Staff is great but it is needed to take a metro and a free shuttle to get to there. Best.

Staff were incredibly friendly, outgoing, and helpful. Despite the location being outside of the City, the staff were running a shuttle where they would drive you directly to the subway (and back) whenever you needed. They have several computers with free internet access for use as well which was great, and pool tables in the back. We did a backpacking trip for five weeks a few years back, and the staff at Backpackers Hostel & Pub went far and beyond anything we had experienced elsewhere.
