I had a very nice experience at Toyo. I met so many new people while staying there. Namba and Umeda are few stops from the station near the hostel. It's a very nice place to start your sightseeing.

Private room with shared bathroom. Place was clean and functional. Worth staying for the price. Value for money

Great place, very cheap, private rooms. Awesome staff and a great place to visit all South Osaka

This place was great for a couple of nights stay. You get your own room with a futon bed. The location was great. If you want to eat go to their Okonomiyaki suggestion around the corner. It was the best i had in Japan.

Staff is super helpful and nice. Facilities are really good. Good value for price.

Fine for one night, which is all I needed it for. Good points: you get your own room (and TV), super cheap, friendly staff and good communal areas. Bad points: dodgy area (felt unsafe at night for the first time in Japan), old building, noisy and room smelt musty.

Great stay! Clean nice and helpful staff. They are nice and speak very good English. It is also very close to the station and so easily accessible to other places in Osaka. Everything is perfect and value for money except the walls are too thin...and one little point to note is that if you walk from Shinimamiya station, there are a lot of homeless people sleeping on the street, seems dangerous for female. Not recommend to walk from that station at night. Would definitely come back!

GREAT location. Right next to Shinimamiya station. Also the facilities are very nice - you can easily cook in the kitchen. Staff is friendly and there are plenty of fellow travelers to chat with in the common room.

The cleanliness in bedroom is not very good. It would be better to replace a bigger wrapped pillow.

I really enjoyed my stay here and I would recommend it to friends. Got pretty much everything a traveler needs and it's a 20-25min walk home from Namba. Thumbs up!

Great value for money! No lockers, but since we had private rooms it was alright. Location was good - very close to a subway station. Would stay here again :)

Great place! Everything you need is there. Sober but efficiënt rooms and great hot showers. Good WIFI even in your room. Coinlaundry and a very nice livingroom. Its a very good value for the money.

Unfortunately this hostel is very run down, and has absolutely no comfort at all. The rooms provided absolutely nothing but the most basic bedding, and the layout of the property meant that there was noises throughout the night that could be heard, so neither of us had a decent sleep. No atmosphere, and no real reason to stay so we moved after one night despite being booked for longer.

Staff is really nice, very welcoming! The hostel is really big and it's a different exp to have a room for yourself. The bathrooms are good and clean, and they have a nice deal at breakfast with the cutest cafe right next door!

Such a great place, cheapest hostel in Japan I've stayed in. Private rooms so you have to make a little more effort to talk to people. Staff are very friendly and willing to help out with anything and cleanliness is on point 👌. Only downside was the wifi wasn't great but I guess it was good enough!

The staff is smiling and very welcoming. The place is strategic in Osaka, near to Tennoji park, Tennoji zoo, shitennoji temple and the iconic tower of shinsekai. I like the Hotel and the place.

I was looking for a flat to live in Osaka, and I stayed at this hostel for several days. It was very nice stay. Great price but I was a little worried about public order things, but not as bad as I'd heard. And at the last night of my stay, my husband joined me in Osaka, he was totally satisfied with this hostel and Don Quijote which is very close to this hostel. The staff are very kind, thank you very much.
