It's like staying in a friends house, feels just like home! Lots of hammocks, a pool, great breakfast, very secure, right beside everything and the nicest staff you'll meet! Book in advance because it's a busy spot!

Really chill place in Paraty! Best breakfast I ever had!! Pablo also makes an excellent BBQ for a good price, recommend you to try it!

Great breakfast. Owner is amazing

Good atmosphere but very very small amd too few bathrooms for the number of people. If you don't mind being stacked into 3-layer bunkbeds x3 per room with minimal fan/air con then it's value for money. Right next to the supermarket!

Owner Comment (Hide)
Daniel, there is 8 beds for room, not 9. In both rooms there is ventilator and aircon and great lockers that allows to have the surface free. There is also 2 bathrooms (the one in your room is ensuite), and 1 more shower into the other shared room I´m sorry that you are not able to see that, but yes to write this poor comment.

Best place I stayed so far in South America. Awesome staff. The breakfast is a dream. They also organize cool tours and bbq. Thank you guys. Loved my stay there!

I stayed in a 8 bed dorm. It needed more power sockets as the sockets were only on one side of the room which made it difficult to charge anything. There were also ants. The owner is a lovely man who goes out of his way for you. The breakfast is amazing!

Owner Comment (Hide)
Thanks for the sockets suggestion, That will be fixed soon. I did an agreement with "the" ant, and she said that if there is not more big storms as that afternoon and we continue using poison everyday, she will be out of the room, but only if we apply the same restriction with the gekos.

Only stayed 1 night but really liked this place. Good atmosphere and homely feel. No A/C but fans were good enough in my room. Massive lockable trunks in rooms. One of the best breakfasts I've had. Very close to the bus station (but not noisy). Didn't use the pool, but it is tiny. Wi-Fi was slow, but finding this is the case in many hostels. Comfortable beds.

thanks for your comment. There is A/C, you didn´t see it cause that day was cold and nobody switch on see you next!!

Literally a stone's throw from the bus station. The place was ok but nothing more than that. The highlight was clearly the breakfast, which was amazing. The whole place just felt a bit overcrowded though. Too many guests and not enough room. Staff were a bit indifferent to us, which is neither a good thin or a bad thing I suppose. Beds were ok, but they're all conjoined so that if one person moves in the night the entire structure shakes. Bathroom facilities were poor.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location to the bus station and supermarket. Easy to arrange tours and for bus information for local beaches. Air con in dorms but not in private rooms!

The hostal was very beautiful and the staff is all about helping you. They serve the best breakfast we ever had in an hostal. You can also enjoy the swimming pool, small but very convenient, giving the very warm weather.

A really nice hostel, the garden is full of hammocks and comfy hanging chairs and a pool. The owner was really friendly, breakfast is normally served at 8.30 but the night before I said I needed to be at the bus station for then so he set breakfast out a bit earlier for me which was really nice and the selection of food for breakfast was the best I've ever seen! Good location by the bus stop but not far from the historic centre or beach.

Incredible breakfast. Cool night-activities inside the hostel, like BBQ&Caipirinha and Pizza (really good) for cheap. Pablo (the owner) is extremely friendly and always helpful. Relaxed and family-mood atmosphere. Cons: They need more bathrooms in the morning, or you should plan to wake earlier than everyone.
