Backpackers INSIDE Reviews

This is a great little place in a safe and vibrant area, lots of places to eat, from local cheapies to major western chains . The staff is great, and will look after you. It can be a bit cramped but that seems to be typical in Seoul. Close to public transport too and a short walk to many interesting places.

We booked this hostel on 14-16 May and 17-19 ( we planned to go to Busan on 16-17 May), but then we canxelled to go to Busan and decided to stay at Backpacker INSIDE. Lucky we got the same room. Backpacker INSIDE has 7 different building. The first 3 nights when me and my parents stayed at Backpacker INSIDE was very nice but the next 2 nights we need to moved to other building its kind of dissapointed me with the room and the bathroom. The bathroom & bedroom has a very small space.

We love the facilities and simplicity of Backpackers Inside! :) The ensuite room was comfortable and very cheap! We will recommend the hostel to our friends! :D

Although the staff, location etc. were good, the room did not even remotely resemble the pictures on the website. It's just disappointing when you realize that you are paying the same amount as others with the same room type except that your room is smaller. The bathroom was so small that you have to remove the toilet paper from the room if you want to shower, and there was an unhealthy amount of mold. There is no point in staying here when there are better, cheaper options in the immediate area

The staffs were excellent! Location is good enough, a lot of shops & restaurants around.

Very nice Hostel and Very friendly Staff

Nothing to say it was perfect my favorite hostel since i\'m travelling! Mingnon is very mignon lol and the american guy (sorry I forgot his name) vas very helpfull!!!!

ms.gian was so kind to us.. everything was well-prepared when we get there.. location 8-10mins to subway station.. nice place and environment.. we recommend this hostel for budget travellers..

There are 5 buildings and I stayed at one away from the main one. It did look a bit dodgy, specially the room and how I needed a padlock to lock my room door. There was no air con and it did get quite warm in the room. Had a single room to get some privacy but the way it was set up, there wasn't much privacy. The staff were friendly and helpful in telling you where to go and how to get there. I wouldn't stay again though.

The room was kind of small but everything else was great.

Min and his team has been very nice and accommodating. Me and my family had a great stay . When we go back to Korea, we will surely contact the Backpackers Inside. Thank you for making our stay comfortable.

One of the best hostels I've ever been!

I stayed in the ensuited room. I did not expect to stay in the Korean style house, but that made me love here. I got very large living room and bathroom, extra space from the bedroom :D. The location is great, the ensuited bedroom is not too far from the subway station, with shops, convenient store and cafes around.

Excellent place to stay. Staff super friendly and being backpackers themselves are totally familiar with the needs and concerns of backpackers. All english speaking and have an American as part of the staff which made everything very simple. Overly nice and willing to help with anything. Great location, super clean, and great place to hang out. Single rooms are small for American standards, but a superb value for the money. I would recommend this hostel for even the most inexperienced traveller

Sunshine Guesthouse is in a great location around a lot of shops and eateries as well as being less than a 10minute walk from the Hyehwa Line4 station. The staff were very nice and made me feel welcome so that was a great start. The common space is open and I got the feeling that it is probably a very lively space during the higher tourist season. I was happy to have a 6 dorm all to myself but if it were full, it could be a very tight space.The bath could be updated but functional for the price.

great people, good location , nice place.. if youre planning to go to Seoul , this place must be youre first choice :)

This is my second stay at this hostel. The location is good.

My family and I had an excellent stay at Inside Backpackers ~ we had stayed in Inside 4.. we had two bedroom, a living room and kitchenette (and both rooms were ensuite). It was such great value for money for excellent comfortable, secure accommodation. Will definitely recommend it to others and will return there again!!

Decent hostel. Slept well here. Took forever to get the room warm. Also, there was virtually no hot water in the shower. No matter how long we waited, how low the pressure was, the water was never above lukewarm and would go to cold after about a minute. Not sure I'd recommend this place because of the heat issues.
