Backpackers INSIDE is in a lively, safe university area known for its nightlife, restaurants and theatre culture. Hostelworld guests have recommended this charming, cozy hostel for budget travellers, citing its cleanliness, value for money and the friendliness of the English-speaking staff, who create a family-like atmosphere. This is a good hostel for meeting fellow travellers and we like that they have a Wii, board games, DVDs and free internet, so there's always something to do.

Enjoy a comfortable stay and real Korean lifestyle when you stay at Backpackers INSIDE. We are located in the heart of Daehangno, a historical, cultural, and shopping center (Dongdaemun) of Jongro in Seoul. It is only a five minute walk from the bus stop and the subway station.
Meet the other travelers from all over the world (we accept only foreign traveller), while sharing a cup of espresso in our fully-equipped kitchen or playing Wii in our cabin-like common room

I think what really puts us ahead of the rest is that unlike many places, we provide many extras like free Wi-Fi, free computer usage, transit card rentals, mobile phone rentals, free washing machines, plug adaptors, cheap clothes dryers, free umbrellas, free towels, free tea and coffee and as many other little things as we can find.

We have fantastic staff who have all travelled extensively as backpackers, so we know what our customers want. We give recommendations and detailed self-guided tour information, as well as taking groups on guided tours once or twice a week, showcasing the history, culture, cuisine, and nightlife of Korea. Once a month, we have a barbecue party in the courtyard of our traditional-style building or restaurant.
We're near so many great cultural and historical locations and when I asked the rest of the staff what their favourites are they were really torn about the question. We narrowed it down to walks around Naksan Park/Fortress Wall, hiking and climbing around Bukhansan, and the Bukcheon/Insadong/Samcheongdong area.Hostelworld Guests Say

This property has a 1 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.

Thank you for booking with us! You will receive an email from us within the next 24 hours with information about your stay with us. If you have questions, please email an email.
Reception Policy:
Our business license allows us to accept only foreign travelers. We legally must cancel bookings from Koreans.
If you have children under the age of 10, you MUST let us know when booking so we can reserve appropriate rooms. If you do not inform us when booking, your reservation may be cancelled.
If you do not checkin before midnight and have not notified us ahead of time, your reservation may be cancelled. Please send us your arrival time!
Until you receive a confirmation email, your room is not reserved.
Standard office hours are 9am to 10pm, though will stay late for late checkins.
Checkout Time is 11am. If you want a late checkout time, the charge will be 50% of the charge for a full night. Luggage storage is available.
