I love this backpackers - nice and close to town and has a great atmosphere.

Great Hostel. Really helpful and pleasant staff. Plenty to do in and around the hostel and it's right on the beach. Love Simon on reception! What a babe!

Super close to the beach!

Had such a great time here !!!! If I'm ever back in Byron I'll definitely be staying here again !! Great people , amazing location , clean rooms, huge kitchen and awesome nightly activities !!!

The front of house staff were lovely to deal with and very helpful. The hostel has all the facilities you would expect from a big hostel. Only bad point is that there is no free WIFI.

The location and staff are great. My only complaint is that the room was a bit dirty when I arrived even though most guests had checked out. Also the showers and toilets were a bit dirty too. Otherwise nice hostel!

Location was good 2 minutes from the beach. Communal area and toilets/ showers were kept clean but this is a very average hostel in my opinion having stayed in 40-50 hostels around the world. Communal area closes too early at night, staff weren't overly friendly or helpful, they make you pay for wifi ($10 for 24 hours) and if you want a plate bowel spoons etc you have to give a deposit and they get it back which I found more offensive than amusing. Average hostel would not recommend to a friend.

Right on the beach and just a short walk from the town centre shops and bars, this hostel couldn't be better located. The atmosphere was great, a real haven for surfers and both party people and folks who just want to chill in the hammocks. Would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone wishing to get a taste of the surfer lifestyle.

Its a big social hostel with great location and comfortable rooms/beds. You can party or rest and the staff is really friendly and helpfulI. On the downside, it does have to many rules, a bad quality weekly BBQ and be ready to pay extra for Wifi. Overall I believe this is a good option.

May want to ask staff to keep PDA to a minimum. Felt a little uncomfortable when the hostel driver was always making out with his girlfriend in the reception area.

Very average hostel, when i arrived one person in my room lost her key and kept leaving the door ajar so she could get in. 10 min walk from the town wasn't bad, but much closer hostels around. staff were pleasant upon arrival but when i left the bus transfer was late and the guy seemed more interested in getting food than providing the service to the bus station. Rooms were clean enough and bathrooms the same. For the price would have expected wifi to be included not an extra cost.

Very good hostel, awesome atmosphere, very well located! I would recomend for everybody!

Not a bad hostel with a huge kitchen, outdoor and indoor common area. Due to its size it can be a little bit impersonal. Small pool in the garden, access straight to the beach, 5-10min walk to the busy area. I enjoyed the surfing lesson and everyone at the surf school was really friendly. Room was comparatively clean, ceiling fan did a good job, lockers provided - bring your own padlock. Wifi is paid and your 24h voucher expires before 24hrs do! What's with Internet and Australia?!

Great atmosphere.

Very fun hostel with a great atmosphere... Booked a private room which was ok value as you have to share a bathroom... Close to the beach and good to sit around at night and have a few drinks but it isn't excessively noisy after about 22:00 which is a definite plus

Great atmosphere...great hostel! Very chill, rooms are roomy, clean - bathrooms too!

Wonderful hostel with one of the cleanest kitchens I have ever seen in a hostel! Nice atmosphere, lovely staff and very good location (5 min to Byron Bay centre and right at the beach).

It was a really nice environment, everything was clean and tidy. Little walk from the main town, but it only took 5 - 10 minutes to walk not a big deal. I met the most amazing people, it was a really nice place to stay!

Awesome backpackers right on the beach. Only a 7 minute walk from town. Kitchen is really clean & spacious. Every night people gather at the back tables to drink before going out so it's really easy to make friends. Staff is quite clicky, except for Sam who will make sure you get "obliterated" every night. Rooms are simple and there's only one M and one F bathroom on each corridor but you almost never have to wait. Only downer is you have to pay for wifi. Will definitely stay here again!
