Be aware of this place, the owner Bill charges you for services that he fails to provide and then is extremely rude when you ask for your money back. The hostel itself is very unclean, i stayed there for a few days and my room floor was dirty when i arrived and was never swept while i was there. There is a cat that roams everywhere including the kitchen and it helps itself to the food you are cooking. All in all i would suggest going to another backpackers.

Some guests didn't pick after themselves and made the place look messier than it actually was. Owners were easy to communicate with and made us feel at home.

Anna and Bill are lovely. There's fresh fruit available for breakfast every morning. And the hostel is 1 minute from the beach.

From arrival at the airport, Bill was there with a wealth of knowledge to share. His wife Anna is a consumate host especially with our Thursday night potluck dinners, where each of us made our favourite dishes and Anna made delicious traditional Cook Islands food. Pros:the communal outdoor area near the large cooking facilities. The hostel is surrounded by fruit groves and garden, just a short walk to a wonderful beach. Cons: no microwave,my double room had no hangers. Enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks.

A nice, friendly place to stay...close to a beautiful beach, handy to the bus...would recommend it!!
