Considering that you where booked to stay with us only 3 nights and opted to extend your stay with us a further 7 nights, I don't believe your issue was with the hostel at all, but rather that on your day of departure you wished us to take your bags to the airport at 8pm when you had been advised by Bill, the person in charge of all the transfers that the earliest we leave to the LA flight was an hour and a half later than you requested. You then went to Ana who is in charge of laundry and the kitchen to pay her the Christmas/New Years discounted bus fare of $5 and told her that your bags were to be delivered to you at the airport at 8pm, knowing full well that the shuttle would not be leaving for the airport for another hour and a half later. Just so you know, you were not the only one that had booked the airport transfer for the same flight you were leaving on and we did ask if they would mind if we could leave an hour and a half earlier than scheduled when we found out, but none wanted to. We then brought your bags to the airport at the scheduled time, as that is what you paid for in which you then proceeded to make a scene at the airport even though you had been advised by Bill who was in charge of transfers that he leaves according to the schedule, he gave your $5 back, despite the fact that he had brought your bags to the airport. We feel that it is unfair that because of this you have forgotten that you extended your stay with us for another 7 nights and enjoyed our hospitality, free fruit, $5 transfers everywhere, etc and never complained to us for your entire stay at the hostel. We hope that all your future comments and ratings will be more honest and wish you all the best in your future travels
