A good place to stay in Pto Natales - strongly recommended. A little confusing moment to confirm booking and use lockers previous to the stay, but the quality of installations and services changed our opinion and our expectations were completely modified in a positive way. Excellent breakfast. Suggestions of restaurants perfect.

This hostel is a great friendly smaller hostel. The owner is super helpful especially in terms of what you need to do the W trek. I would especially recommend this hostel to anyone doing the W and camping. The owner keeps the hostel really clean and they even have peanut butter and nutella for breakfast.

Our stay in Punta Arenas and the organisation of the Torres del Paine trekking would have not been the same if we would not stay at Kawashkar! Omar, the owner, is an extremely pleasant person and he puts his heart in everything he does! Not only I recommend the place, but I also hope to be able to go back there once.

This is THE perfect hostel. We've been travelling for 8 months already; never had a hostel where everything was perfect. Until we came here. Omar himself makes the difference. He treats you as a person with a name instead of 'just the next tourist'. Breakfast is fantastic, for once the kitchen has enough AND good equipment, the hostel is superclean, it has enough bathrooms,... and Omar is a big source of information. He likes to take things 'tranquiiiiilo, chicos!' :-) Thanks, Omar!

there is really nothing to complain in this hostel. the staff and the owner omar are very helpful. all facilities are very clean and the kitchen is well stuffed. breakfast was much more than chilenian standard (in addition to the normal things thay had cheese, nutella, peanut butter, ...). its the perfect place to prepare for hiking in torres and to chill out afterwards.

Two nights spent at the Kawashkar hostel, we enjoyed very much our stay: good ambiance warm and quiet, very clean accomodations and bathrooms, and most of all, very helpful and kind staff. In a few words, a nice place we strongly recommend! Miguel and Stephanie (France)

Amazing place! Omar and Raphael were very friendly, helpful and offered above&beyond service. They offered hiking advice for TP &knew updated park info during the fire. Omar rushed my laundry w/in 2 hours of returning from TP, let me use a locker while hiking TP & on an overnight trip to P.Arenas, & upon returning let me hang out until 11pm until Navimag boarding. I would return to this hostel in a heartbeat. Clean, great breakfast (Nutella,PB,Yogurt, real juice),10min walk to town/market/harbor

the owners are nice, and the location is good, but it`s not reommended for couples. we asked for a double bed room and we got a room with two separate beds, in two opposite corners of the room, which was disappointing.

I loved this hostel. You have the possibility to rent the equipment for the Parque Nacional Torres del Paine like tents and cooking sets. The two guys are so helpfull and friendly, I was sick and the helped me so much. They have all the information you need and a lot of recomendations. The breakfast is very good with coffee, tea, cereals, bread, nutella, peanutbutter, cheese, marmelade and a lot more.
