Great location if you are headed to Miyajima. 30 mins travel to Hiroshima centre. The propertier said it was uncommonly hot but air condition was available throughout the night. Room was poor ventilated and humid. Shower was limited to 7 minutes and there were only 2 shower rooms in the property. Futon was thin as paper, it was as good as sleeping on hard ground.

Staff and long term guests made this potentially boring place a lot of fun.

There is a great team behind this hostel who will sometimes throw all-you-can eat dinnerparties in the weekends. Great atmosphere. They are directly at the miyajima ferry terminal and about 23 minutes out of Hiroshima city.

Great hostel. The best one I visited in Japan. Friendly staff. Good common room with beer in a vending machine. The barbecue made it all complete. Thanks!

Good location for ferry.Comfortable beds in dorm room. Female dorm is surrounded by other bunk beds on other side of v.light wall, All the noise from the other beds/people talking could be heard clearly from the my room . Staff were friendly, good clean facilities.

Miyajima is located outside of Hiroshima. The hostel has the atmosphere of a surfers-getaway. It is near a lake and even has a view of the famous red Torii. I was happy to go all the way to this place and go back to Hiroshima centre to see the sights of this great city. The hostel has a private beach that makes me want to visit it again. The mattrass of my bed was relatively thin and the bottom of the bed was hard as well. I was there two nights and those two nights had a barbeque on every night

By far the most comfortable hostel beds I've slept in. The location is alright considering its a 10 minute boat ride from the island, however I got fooled at first because I thought it was ON the island and it is not... However the staff were very very nice and the facilities were perfect. I would recommend this hostel to my friends visiting the island. Pro-Tip, get on the first boat to Miyajima at 6:24am if you want to get one hour free of NO TOURIST and especially NO SCHOOLCHILDREN GROUPS!!!

Very good place to stay !!! Good staff , clean place . It is quiete at night . Japanese mattress ... Try the party barbecue they make , it is very good deal and tasty ! Very well located if you plan to see Miyajima island ;). If you plan to see the bomb museum only , it is about 40 minutes by train . But Miyajima island worth it so you can spend at least 2 nights . Thanks for a good stay ...

I arrived and before I set down my bag I was invited on the hostel camping trip to Miyajima island! Wonderful, warm staff, I was instantly part of the group. Great modern building with balconies overlooking the ferry terminal! Less than 1 minute walk to the ferries! Great communal area! Wanted to stay longer!

The first impressions were poor due to the provisional facilities like the kitchen area and that the walls of the rooms are not dressed. But already in the first night it turned out to be a great place to stay. There`s a community, which I didn`t experience in other hostels, the nights are really funny and the staffs are always there for a really good chat. They also cook every evening. The location is really convenient, directly on the pier to take the ferry to the island. Have a try!

Only spend 1 night in the so there is only a few things to say: 1-Commom room is cool with cheap vending machine ( Perfect) 2-Funny and helpfull Staff 3- If your wanna visit the Island ( Like me) there is no other better location but takes about 25 min by JR train to the Hiroshima Station + 10 min in tram until u reach center town. I liked a lot but next time i will look for a place near the central area, but is for personal reasons.
