Really enjoyed staying at this place! The staff is awesome; Yoshi prepared BBQ at the other night. Met some nice people here, including one who actually lives there :D The building is very plain and a bit crammed, but the rooms are perfectly ok. It is located conveniently literally next to the ferry terminal. Very much recommended!

We only arrive there to sleep, but the staff was very attent and it was a very fun experience. I highly recommend Backpackers Miyajima.

Very good hostel, great BBQs in the evenings. English speaking with a lot of tips what to do and when to do it, for instance high/low tide at Miyajima island. Yoji is the entertainer and a great party officer. Loved the place. /Robert

Backpackers Miyajima was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in: based on a month backpacking around Japan and a month in Europe last year. The feel of the hostel was excellent. Every night there was a chance to kick back with some new faces and drink some beer. The staff were brilliant and totally ready to chill out with you. I got shown a sweet waterfall nearby and the hostel's close to the ferry port - which grants access to Miyajima island. Good food was cooked most nights: STAY HERE!

Perfect if you go to Miyajima, close to the station to spend some time in Hiroshima (20-30 minutes by train)
