Situated near the bustling cosmopolitan centre of Hamilton is a boutique backpackers hostel just perfect for a relaxing first stop after the craziness of Sydney. Hang out in our hammocks below shady palmtrees, take a dip in our beautiful sun-warmed pool, or catch one of the many free local buses to discover Newcastle's stunning beaches (bus stop only 1min walk away).
We have a free pool table, free on street parking, coin-operated laundry, internet kiosk, brand new BBQ area, a free meal or two, comfy beds and camping available. We are cleaned daily and have very friendly and knowledgeable staff that will help you plan your travels (and join you at the nearest pub!). Coming in by train or bus? Call us to arrange a free pick up and drop off service in our mini van. Backpackers Newcastle - your home away from home!

My friend and I initially planned to stay here for 2 nights but we enjoyed it so much we stayed for 4 and we are planning to return for another few nights. Fantastic friendly place that I would definitely recommend!
