After 16 years in the business this friendly hostel still offers excellent service from staff who will happily share the secrets of the little Karoo and arrange a wide variety of activities from their adventure and travel centre.
Stretching over four properties, nothing will cramp your style during your stay here. In fact, the relaxed atmosphere is a little addictive, so dont be surprised if you end up staying longer than planned.
Once youve settled in, stay up to date with social networks via free wi-fi, grabba beer from the pub (which is far from any sleep desiring bodies), plonk your hot bod into the cool pool, chill in one of the hammocks and order something from the coffee shop and dig into some awesome home baked cakes! Sloth out in front of the telly or lay claim to the balcony and watch the sun blaze its way to bed.

The diversity of Oudtshoorn and the Little Karoo is so spectacular we have in the Fauna and Flora sector from semi desert, to farmland, to mountain ranges, rocky landscape, to a little rain forest leading to waterfalls, all compacted in a 54km radius and the beach is only 70km away. The activities available in our area and region are unique to us. Greet the day with a meerkat family as they wake up, pat a cheetah or ride an ostrich, hot air balloon over the basin that is Oudtshoorn and enjoy spectacular views. Cycle down the Swartberg pass and feel what it is like to cycle on top of the world! The Cango Caves are so unique in its size that it welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. There are hiking trails, 4X4 trails, quadbike trails, ride an ostrich at one of the show farms, horse riding trails, elephant walks and fishing!
