This is not a hostel. It is a pension. Most of the people are not travellers, but actually live there. There is one bathroom for everybody, and it is VERY dirty. No breakfast included. When we arrived, nobody was aware of our reservation. The entrance is dark. There are no lockers and sometimes the entrance doors were opened. Does not seems safe. Except for the location, we do not recommend this place.

Desculpe-me Gabriela, mas é sim um hostel, em 2 anos mais de 700 pessoas já se hospedaram no Rota do Sol, e não há 1 só banheiro para todos, são 2 banheiros, 1 feminino e outro masculino. Não servimos café da manhã e também nunca anunciamos esse serviço. Sim, na baixa temporada mantemos a porta fechada a maioria do tempo, é nossa preferência atender reservas on-line e telefonicas. Sim pessoas moram no hostel, é um habito comum de milhares de hostels no mundo inteiro, para manter aberto durante o ano, no período de baixa temporada. A entrada já está iluminada e é comum brasileiros não se sentirem seguros, pois carregamos muitas histórias de violência em nossas cidades natais.

Staff not helpful, no English, no wifi. Lockers could easily be broken into. No free breakfast and not much to cook with in the kitchen.

Daina, thanks for the message, even if all negative evaluation is very important to us. I disagree that it is easy to break our closet, and really do not offer breakfast. Emanuel speaks English, but on the day you were here, he was not very good health and Valkyrie is still learning. It had nothing to please you? if you had, please disclose here! att Rafael

This is a lovely little hostel in the centre of Lagoa da Conceicao, right next to all the shops and restaurants. It is a very quiet hostel, good facilities and nice rooms. We didn't meet that many people whilst here, but the hostel owner was very welcoming and friendly and took the time to talk to us. The rest of the staff didn't speak English although we had no problems with this. We did eventually move to a different hostel as we were looking to party and it is not a party place.

thank you dear, I'm very happy with your message, the holidays are really for nightclubs, restaurants, bars ... maybe in the future I do not rent the hall down and expand the hostel? when you return, even if it does not get into our hostel, look for me, thank you friend!
