The first day I arrived, a girl didn't check out and take the keys away so that I got no room till 11 pm ! Tho I'm not satisfied with their management, the staff was really friendly. As to facilities, 4 bathrooms which is fairly enough but kitchen is crappy, no refrig, no cookers... U can't try to cook anything there except having some toast and milk they offered. Well, except the facility and management, everything went out just fine. Overall, still recommend.

Satisfied with my stay there. Nice Ikea style bed. Strong Aircon which is a huge plus. Good Wifi signal everywhere. It is also reasonably clean. For the price it is money well spent. As for location, it is only just a few stops away by MRT train to tourist hotspot.

Was surprised Backpackers SG delivers. Really close to lavender mrt and local foodcourts with cheap food. The staff at the hostel was genualiy helpful. Fast Wifi, gave me adapter so I could charge my phone. Take a 4 bedroom and you will have a safe and good night sleep. Could recommend this hostel to everybody who visit Singapore and don't want to pay to much.

A nice place to stay for a few days, clean, good beds, good security staff are helpful (but not always there). Close to the train station. Have nothing bad to say about the place

Very strategic & match with my itinerary. Close to Lavender MRT & Golden Mile Complex. The only cons is the room is too narrow for me.

The owner, Mr. Jeff was really cool and had a great personality. The kind you look forward after traveling miles, perhaps thousands of miles to reach a hot shower and a cool bunk. There was lots of hot chicks and great folks there. The age old adage of "you pay for what you get", this place is a good value for pit stop along the journey of life.

Great staff. Rooms are very clean and the beds + matresses were new. Good price for Singapore, and the location is decent - right beside the MRT and roughly 30 minutes from the hostel to the airport terminal by train.

it is a good bargain, we got quality accommodation for a low price. the hostel is definitely one of the cleanest hostels I have been to. the staff is always willing to help, whether if you want some ideas about where to go, or just want some help with the digital TV remote control. it has a nice outdoor sitting area, where backpackers can talk and have beers.

The Staffs (Jeff and Chris) are really really friendly and helpful. They need more hangers in some bathroom though, other than that, it was an incredible experience to stay here

Friendly stuff. Kitchen was a little bit untidy, and it's facing the shower rooms, so breakfast in the morning was kind of awkward. But generally a good hostel!

A pretty plain hostel. Rooms were simple, didn't have much character, I happened to stay in a 8-bed-dorm as an only girl with older men.. Atmosphere was weird and some guy took phone calls in the middle of the night and other one was angry 'cause I didn't want to talk to him 'cause other guys were still sleeping... Breakfast was ok and the tv-room nice. Liked the air-con in the rooms. Even though it was ok value for money for Singapore prices, probably wouldn't stay again if travelin by myself.

Simply the best, this is my second stay at backpackers@sg in 12 months. It is clean, cheap. They make you feel part of the community and offer advise on whatever you ask . I would recommend Backpacker@sg to anybody, you will not be disappointed

I love this place and best of all, Mr. Jeff Wong, very helpful and friendly,. Good hospitality. Much better than the hostel I stayed before in Jl Pinang. I did tell to my friends about this place. A bit farther than Jl Pinang but still be ok as the Lavender MRT just a 5 min walk away from BPSG. Again, many thanks to Mr. Jeff Wong.

I know for $20 a night in Singapore you cannot expect too much but this hostel missed some of the basics...nobody there that could speak basic English to help inform us of places to see or trips to do, no map available at reception so had to wing it until we found one, showers in the "kitchen" area which is just wrong and just no atmosphere whatsoever....I genuinely think I got to speak two words to a fellow guest in the 3days, everybody kept to themselves.
