By far the best experience that I have had in all of South America. The food, the activities, the location, the cleanliness, the spaciousness, the peacefulness, and the going out were all incredible. Most of all though, the staff were amazing, they looked after us like we were their children and hung out with us like we were their best mates. I wish is never left.

Fantastic location on the beach and great breakfast and dinner. Staff not that accommodating considering the money spent over the bar and at times quite forceful about participating in hostel organised events. Also room was not cleaned once during 4 night stay. Had a good time overall.

Amazing hostel! Very helpful staff, good breakfast and the meals organised for everyone were amazing and really communal... best BBQ we´ve had yet. The only downside is that you can´t use the kitchen on evenings when a meal is being organised... apart from that it´s a perfect location right on the beach, with lots of suggestions to do in Florianopolis.

The meals cooked here are fantastic and we ended up staying here a week (it was hard to leave). Really social hostel and great location. All in all excellent hostel but only recommendation would be book your whole stay on hostelworld to ensure you secure that price

Great hostel right by the beach with a fab atmosphere and great chill out spaces. It was great you could use the surf boards, the staff were really nice and the free caipirinha every night is a great way to get people together. Only downside is no cooking allowed if the hostel is organising dinner - was ok as it quiet during my stay so there was only 1 night I couldn't cook til late. 18R$ a night on curry or pasta is a lot - needs to be cheaper or kitchen not closed to suit the poor backpackers!

A nice hostel on a hill facing the beach. Extensive common spaces and tasty breakfast, plus a free caipirinha every evening! Staff was friendly and relaxed, but sometimes a bit too much so, as they agreed to take care of a car rental that eventually wasn´t done. But still a recommendable place to stay at Santa Catarina island.

We loved every second of our time in Barra da Lagoa and stayed much longer that we had originally planned. The staffmembers make you feel very welcome and are easygoing. Mansuke's dinners are delicious!! The location is perfect if you want to have a relaxing time, hang out at the beach, go for walks or surf. It is easy to get buses to other beaches if you need a change. We met some wonderful people during our stay at the ShareHouse. We won't forget our time there and will come back for sure.

The hostel was nice and small and perfect location just next to the beach. The free caipirinha was a good idea to get all the people to gather around at the same time and the organized party bus to the club was fun (but the club was not a best choice for backpackers). The only minus was the terrible showers and toilets and the fact that most of the facilities were outside so when it rains it's messy and you get wet only for going to toilet.

Good customer service from Barbara and the rest of the staff. Everyone was so helpful and the hostel was clean. The cleaning staff does such a great job. Can't wait until the next time I am in Brazil. I will stay here.

Great atmosphere, and offers a lot of activities (sporty/fun/boozy - whatever you like). The dinner at the hostel was surprisingly good and generous portions. The staff are really easy going and helpful - thanks for a lovely stay.

A Must stay when traveling to Flo! Right next to the beach and nightly dinner makes it easy to meet and hang out with people. Free surf boards to use for the day is another big plus!

One of my favourite hostels I've stayed in so far, mainly because of the staff. Jamie was a great help to us, there are so many activities to do and it's a fun hostel to stay at.

Great staff good atmospher. The dinners are graet and cheap espically the bbq. The only thing that needs an atention is the facilty no ac not enath bathrooms to bad cause this is the only thing that prevent them to be graet.

I really loved this hostel, better location and atmosphere then where we were staying previously at backpacker sunset. Really great cocktails, and the bar is so good you never need to go out! I would have liked the hostel to push the events they organise because they never seemed to happen which became annoying when you did want to go out, but apart for that the hostel is really chilled and we couldn't leave for weeks! Highly recommend to anyone staying in floripa!
