Great location, but not the cleanest. The beach is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS there. My only complaints are that there was only one bathroom for our section of 12 people and the site says they have push bikes even though they don't.

One of the best parts of my trip in Brazil so far. The atmosphere at this place is amazing!

We had an amzing stay at The Backpackers Sharhouse. Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is just great!

Very clean and great location! Breakfast was always great to wake up to and there were always people in the common area to talk to.

The best hostel I have ever stayed at. Sensational location and a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Definitely visit if you get the chance.

Really enjoyed staying in this hostel - there was so much to do (with all the surfboards, kayaks etc. that were available to borrow), the staff were very nice, the rooms were very clean, the dinners were unreal and it was great getting a free drink too each night!!

Everything was amazing - the best hostel we´ve stayed in. The staff were really friendly and helpful, there were lots of free activities to do yourself, the loaction is just beautiful and the barbeque is the best in South America (and we´ve had a few). The breakfast was delicious, and the beds are so comfortable we really didn´t want to leave. The place is really genuine, we will have to return!

Great hostel. Brilliant value for money when you take into account the substantial breakfast (including fresh fruit and toasted sandwiches) and free access to beach gear including surf boards, sandboards etc. Would definitely recommend this hostel.

This place was the best hostel i stayed at in brazil. Great: food, staff,people, location and all the rest.

The atmosphere is unique. The best place if you want to chill out or party hard. Their recommendations are the best ones and they even have deals with some local businesses for their guests!

good breakfast very nice staff nice tours perfect, can recomment 100% but dont book the doubleroom underneath the bar "cave" it is very, very loud...!

We had an excellent time at the hostel and enjoyed the daily free caipirinha! The staff are relaxed and friendly, the chef prepares good food.Spotless rooms and bathrooms, wow location. Everybody ends up staying longer than expected.

Was only meant to stay 3 nights, ended up staying 12. Staff are great and met some great people there. Good location on the beach, other beaches close by. Breakfast was very good. Will miss the place. Simon & Kirsty

I really enjoyed my stay at the backpackers share house. nice place to chill out, meet people and go to the beach. the breakfast was one of the best i had while travelling. also the dinner in the hostel is recommendable. it´s quite close to the beach, but if you want to go somewhere else you always have to take a bus. the restrooms are not really clean.

Great place to stay with a really good atmosphere and really good breakfast. The optional dinner is some of the best food ive eaten while travelling. Went for one wk and ended up staying for 3....its just a great place to unwind

I had an absolute ball at this hostel! The staff really put their all in to make sure you feel welcome, and are happy to help with anything they can. The food is amazing and the caipirihnas are nice and strong!:) Location is great and transport around the area is efficient. The atmosphere they create is so great that you will definitely leave there with a few new friends and feeling happy with your stay in Florianopolis!

a perfect hostel for floripa, located right by the beach. a small hostel so it's really sociable, everyone has dinner and drinks together every night. however, if you want to cook the kitchen is closed 7 to 10. for the few rooms without en suite it's annoying to go to the toilet in the night because it's outside and not well lit, but fine in the day. staff were really friendly and helpful although occasionally the bar staff drank a bit too much to do their job properly! good night time security
