Booked the double private room; it's listed as ensuite, but there is no ensuite bathroom for this room. This was a disappointment as we specifically wanted an ensuite room. There are only two single-occupancy bathrooms for the entire hostel, one of which is attached to one of the dorm rooms. Cleanliness was fine. It's very close to the subway station; not in a busy area but easy enough to access the main parts of Hongdae. Overall not my first choice for a hostel, but it was just fine.

I was the only guest at the hostel all week, so it was hard for there to be a very social atmosphere or character. Good facilities and location. Staff were mostly helpful and spoke basic english.

I have stayed in many hostels, included a few in Seoul... and this hostel is nice, clean, and the staff (owner) is very kind. The place is only a 5 minute walk from the subway exit and in a good location. I personally value the cleanliness of a place as top priority... and this place exceeded expectations. The beds were clean, sheets smelled like awesome fabric softener (a sure sign they are clean), and the bathroom was well kept. Also, the kitchenette is big enough to make a nice meal. Thanks!
