just what you want from a hostel. close to party area, clean and comfy, small but nice well stocked kitchen, good hang out area downstairs so being a bit loud isnt a problem, and they dont mind partying. staff arent overly friendly but are perfectly helpful, bar and restuarant are decently priced. the rooms are a bit noisy because of construction, but that could have been bad luck. free wifi actually works, showers are warm all day, very worth the price

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. The rooms are spotless and the staff are very helpful and sociable. I traveled on my own and found this was the best hostel for meeting people. It's a good bit out from the city centre but St. Pauli is a great residential area. There are lockers, which you rent, and the room doors are locked by key pads, you just need to remember to lock them after you. This hostel is a laugh, highly recommended!
